Hey made - saw a Jim Shore little figurine today at Marshalls and thought of you... it was a bride and groom for only $7.50!

Was she the same one who questioned your doctor behind your back? She seems to be on a "witch hunt" of sorts on you IMO. Can you grieve this situation with the school or union?

Same one. Yes, I have contacted CTA and will also contact an attorney. In over 20 years of teaching, I have never been treated this way. The sad thing is it started AFTER I was diagnosed with cancer.

I thought I would be able to catch up, but the treatment by my principal yesterday did not allow me to sleep at all last night. I took an hour's nap this afternoon, but I am so sleepy right now. With the "fallish" weather yesterday evening and today, I put a roast in the crockpot along with red potatoes, carrots, corn, mushrooms, and onions. Oh, my, it was so yummy. Tomorrow, I will shred some of the leftover roast and we will have fajitas. I am off to join Hubby and hope to catch up tomorrow. Pleasant dreams, everyone!

Go get 'er! If it started after the diagnosis, sounds like discrimination to me.

When I was first diagnosed many years ago, I had to be out for a week for a series of painful tests to determine the stage and the treatment. When I got back, my supervisor pointed out that she could terminate me for having too many unscheduled days absent. She didn't really intend to --- she just got a power trip out of saying it, as though I'd done something wrong. And yes, I had notified the office where I was and why. What gets into some people?
