What a find!

Everybody's feeling extra-Christmassy today brought me luck. I just got a $24 Christmas book at the Building 19 (local bargain-basement store) for $3.99---"Pearl Harbor Christmas," which covers what was happening in the country the Christmas after the Pearl Harbor attack, from December 22, 1941 to New Year's Day of 1942. Looking forward to reading it!

The faces on those Santas look so real!

Good evening everyone!

A very rare Sunday evening visit from myself. But, I come bearing gifts. I few weeks ago, I mentioned Tinseltown, Ottawa's new year-round Christmas store. Upon my first visit, I had realized that I forgot my camera. Well, Kim and I have just returned from Tinseltown and I managed to take some great pictures. I'll share them (all) with you here. The link to the facebook album can be found here:

TINSELTOWN VISIT!

It's March. And, as always, what better way to celebrate the beginning of a new month with a big splash of Christmas! Enjoy!

My camera couldn't do the red and green section justice. This corner was beautiful:

Beautiful, I would like to get there.

So if it doesn't get here in the time frame given to me I know where it went. cheesy

I would never sit across from your house and wait on the delivery truck, so I could steal it off of your porch. Nope. I would never do that.

Quick read through all the posts, you all look to be having a good day!

I went to Toronto to visit my favorite cake supply shop. Picked up a few things and happy to find they were all on sale!

Now I get to sit here at home and relax, watch some TV (amazing race is on soon) and catch up here.

I used my Christmas/birthday money towards purchasing a Kindle Fire HD, I will be breaking it out and playing with it in a few minutes.

I hope you like it!!! If you have any questions just ask and I'll try to help.

Those Santa's are gorgeous !! Thank you for posting this !

What a store, Brent!, It looks like it could be expensive.

It could be very expensive. Our snow globe was $30. Regular $50. But, I mean, wanting/purchasing absolutely everything in the store would make it even more expensive, too!

That's it. I'm going to the post office and applying for a passport tomorrow!!!! I want all of those Santa's!!!!!

They were a real treat to see. They are everywhere!

You're welcome. The globe is real nice. I would take a close up photo, but it's all nicely packaged and stored with the Christmas decor.

How could you anyway ? After all, you'll be in the North Pole with me, Santa and the polar bears !!
