I miss not being able to come here so often, but am so happy to always find someone here when I do visit! Always gives me a nice pick me up to visit.

May I say how much I HATE auto correct ? I just had to fix three or four posts because it put some bizarre stuff in.....good grief....
We just returned from the Volunteer Fire Department Bean Feed. We walked down (jut over two blocks), ate, and walked back. I am so tired that I am almost ready for bed! I have a doctor's appt. for tomorrow morning and will need toget up early. TTYT, maybe after the appointment.
Good evening, Christmas family
Just getting ready to hit the hay for another evening. I feel really bad. I had to correct my Hermione tonight and she is so sensitive that her feelings got hurt ! One thing I have read and learned personally about Bloodhounds is that they are VERY SENSITIVE emotionally. She is part Golden too but I think she takes more after her father, the Bloodhound. After I corrected her, she looked at me with this awful sad and drooping look as if to say ..."What did I do mommy ?" I didn't hit her or anything but I have found that as a hound she likes to challenge authority (MY kind of GIRL !) so you have to be pretty stern.
I kept up my "mean mommy" face until she fell asleep as I sat on the couch opposite her crying without her knowing.....In true older sibling fashion, Clancy seemed to relish the fact that Hermione was being disciplined. In fact she almost seemed to be beaming as if to say "I'm always good, mom !!"
Wish is as much a character as always. In fact tonight he was chewing a Nylabone, something he hasn't done in I dont know how long !! By the grace of God he seems to be feeling really good right now.
I started the long and arduous task of finding a dress to wear to my youngest goddaughter's wedding in April. ARRRRGH...I HATE shopping for dresses. The dresses seem to swing from promiscuous to great-grandmother in style. Nothing in between and I am neither of those. Any of you ladies have any hints on where to shop for a nice, pretty dress suitable for a wedding guest ??
I am starting to nod off so I will hopefully TTYT xoxo

As far as dresses go, I actually have found the best ones at JCPenney, Dillards, or Marshall's. I remember when I was growing up and my mom would want to take me there or Sears, and I'd feel like I was shopping at the feed store! Typical teenager. But times have changed, and I really like their clothes! Pretty dresses. Good luck!

Good Monday morning! I am so heartsick this morning and I don't know why!! It's cold and nice outside..I guess I know this will be the last of the cold weather I love so much until next fall!! Well that is just 6 to 7 months away! I can already see myself decorating the outside of my house and the inside for Halloween. I simply love Halloween. Now that I have kids and am thinking I will like it even more.! Anyways it's thoughts like that...that are getting me through this spring and summer. Have a good Monday everyone!
and ETA @Cm3-I just read about you feeling bad about reprimanding your dogs.lol I do the same thing and will feel sooo guilty it makes me want to go home and baby them even more when I read your post! don't feel bad...I have always read that dogs want to let their owners take control over them..I don't know If I agree with that though. My pookie was the most strong willed dog I have ever had and looked at me the same way when I got on to her
