Good morning, friends!!

How are you all?

It's going to be hot & humid here today, about 80 degrees, and a high pollen count. Blech!

I have a lot of errands to run today, including a haircut appointment & shopping for Father's Day.

Made said he could come & use his clippers on me but I'm thinking that's a bad idea!! Sorry, buddy!! I like my hair, too much =]

I may also drop by Michael's & look for Fall stuff!!

I don't miss the Vegas temps one bit

The humidity is what makes it feel so much worse than it really is...
But, I'd take that over the dry heat any day. Maybe it's because I grew up with it? Hmmm!!

I know there are no words to truly make you feel better right now. I am not looking forward to the day we have to say goodbye to Baby. I hope You will find some comfort just knowing that you gave Mouse the best possible life you could. Thinking of you, Mouse, and Palmer. How is Palmer reacting?

It has been a very sad day for me. After consulting with both vets' I had to say goodbye to Mouse. I believe a part of me passed on with her - such a lonely place here now. I wish I could hug each and every one of you who kept her in your prayers - it meant so much to me. God bless!

This was so scary, Brad, especially the last few seconds!

...While we were talking at the table, one of the new interns mentioned that her parents run a Christmas tree farm/pumpkin patch just south of Atlanta.

They recently started a haunted house/forest, and they hire actors (mostly students from the local colleges) to be the monsters. They even have a paintball area to shoot zombies (more actors in padded costumes)! You have to check this out! http://www.fearthewoods.com/

I think Jacob and his buddies would love this...ok, I might enjoy it a little bit, too.

Just thinking about going to a pumpkin patch & haunted house makes it feel a little fall-ish!

Good morning everyone! Just a quick drop in. Unfortunately I don't have time to catch up right now. I got to work this morning & after about 30 minutes - poof - electric goes out! And it was out for a little while. Can't do much with no electric. So I went home & started making cookies! I was just ready to put the 1st batch in the oven when I get the call that power is back on. Grrr! I was hoping it would stay out all day!!! Ha ha ha! So I baked 1 batch & brought warm cookies back for the boys! Guess I will finish them tonight!


We had some crazy storms come through overnight. Windy, lightening, 1" rain...my alerts from TWC kept going off on my phone. But all is good! Thankfully!!!

Good morning, all. It is a sun shiny day here in northern CA. We have one dinner meeting tonight in Red Bluff and one next week in Redding. For some odd reason, I am really sleepy and it is not even 9:00 a.m. yet! I might have to take a nap, especially since I did not sleep all that well last night. TTYL

I have been to Vegas 5 times when the temps have got near 110 and will take the dry Vegas heat any day over our 95-101 humidity heat we have here. We would walk up and down the strip in that heat and it didn't bother us too bad. I can't last 5 minutes in this awful Texas heat here. Blah! I guess you have to suffer this junk here in Texas to appreciate the heat in Vegas. BUT I would take the heat where you live over both places!!!!!!!

Can I move in with you guys for the summer??? Pleeeeease!!!! laying:

Good luck with that. Carl has stopped running the hot tub on Wednesday nights because Binger keeps spiking the water with bubble bath. :-o

Got caught in that once (and ONLY once). The bubbles are coffee-flavored.

I love all the vintage Halloween and Christmas decor and cards. I sometimes google vintage images just to look at them. I am enjoying what you post! I should probably share my finds as well!

A tip for you: Go look on eBay. SCADS of vintage postcard images from all holidays! (That's where I buy my vintage July Fourth postcards.)
