Good morning everyone! Friday here! xx No lectures for me today (again. I think I am starting to look like a very lazy university student) but instead we are going to have a field class to nuclear power plant. It will take us all day because it is 3 hours journey by bus one way. I am quite excited because getting into the plant is a very tricky thing. Our lecturer e-mail us five times already saying 'don't forget your ID and don't bring any electronic devices'. I have checked my bag many times to make sure I have my ID with me.

The forecast doesn't talk about rain today. I expect we will be inside most of the time but it is still nice to know there won't be raining just in case.

I wish you all a nice day before the weekend kicks off.

The trip to the nuclear power plant sounds interesting, I hope you enjoyed the trip.

Thank you! Unfortunately, the new car smell changes as soon as I bring home a takeout order! cheesy It has Bluetooth, so I will be able to stream Kringle Radio and the Merry Podcasts from my smartphone without plugging in a cable. (In my current car, I use a cassette adapter.)

Nothing like getting into the car and smelling the pizza you brought home last night. cheesy

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend again! Today & tomorrow are supposed to be warmer (57 & WINDY today, 50 tomorrow) but Sunday is supposed to be cold again. High of 29º, 13 mph wind - and of course that's the day we do the 5k! Brrrrr! Tomorrow morning Jim is going to go pick up the quote & door sample the cabinet maker came up with for us for our kitchen remodel. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to an open house at the window/door company to order windows/doors for our addition. There is also mass for my brother who passed away at 5:00, a benefit/card tournament (guys night out) for my hubby's 2 cousins who are deceased, there is a big sale at the furniture store, a Paddy's day party at the Legion, it's a MMC Milestone day, and it's our 17th wedding anniversary! BUSY DAY!!!! Sunday is the 5k, then we will be with our friends all day. Looking forward too it. Hubby & I are both off work on Monday...looking fwd to that too! :smile: Oh, and of course we have to find time in there to spoil doggies!!! LOL

Home from the hospital. They kept mom again tonight. She should be released tomorrow sometime. All of her tests came back fine today. So they are just putting her on a more powerful blood thinner. Her right foot is still pretty numb though and she can't walk without a walker. It is better than it was this morning when I left so hopefully it continues to improve.

I hope the numbness wears off soon, you are all continuing to be in my thoughts.

I went turbo through the posts tonight, not a lot of time to do much on the computer tonight. I work tomorrow and have Sunday off,it will be my first day off with my family in 3 weeks. So much for this "new & improved" schedule they were promoting at work.

I am exhausted, eyelids heavy, soooo...

Hello everyone! I am just popping in to say after another long absence. We had such a different Christmas with a major ice storm and finding out our furry son Fernando had bone cancer. We had to say goodbye on February 10th.... He was such a sweet boy and we all miss him so much! I hope to get in here more this year! Part of my "ME" time commitment!

Good morning!
No matter how hard I try to sleep in a little bit on the weekend, I just can't seem to do it. I'm so use to my alarm going off early during the week. I have straightened up the house, emptied the dishwasher and started doing laundry so far. Not too much going on for me today. I do need to go food shopping at some point. My two oldest will be working for a few hours and my husband will be working on the kitchen today. He has a lot of the cabinets and most of the island built. It's still going painfully slow for me, but he's making progress. And I may take a ride to the mall this afternoon with my youngest, we both need a couple of things.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!
