Evening all! So many of you are having snow - what an amazing way to kick of the season!

I just got back from the school run and I think I partly flew there and back. Gale force winds here. I saw my neighbours big black bin roll to the end of the street pushed by the wind. I ran down the street behind it aided by the force of the wind and I tell you that was an experience LOL!!!!

any one tape it for us to watch? LOL at least you got your exercise in for the day
We get winds like that once in awhile, make a mess of everything.

Forgot to mention---Mr. had to pick up a few things at Walmart yesterday. He saw a "I Triple Dog Dare You" Christmas Story t-shirt there and bought one for me as a surprise. He's the best!

I saw one that said "Jingle like your last name's Kringle." I'm trying to get Nancy to pick that one up for me!

I have one that says "Christmas calories don't count !"

Just popping in quick to say hello, I'm sitting down to have a much needed cup of coffee. Busy day so far. I had to bring Molly & Maggie to the groomer after work and then I spent the rest of the afternoon running errands and catching up with my chores. I hope everyone is having a very happy first day of the season. My husband renewed my SiriusXM without telling me. He set my car radio to one of the Christmas stations last night so that I would hear Christmas music when I started my car this morning. I was pleasantly surprised! Well I'm about to put dinner on the table. I picked up pork chops from my butcher, they're stuffed with sausage stuffing. It smells so good in here. I'll be back later!

Not everyone has replied yet, but so far we are having:

Turkey
Smoked Turkey
Dressing
7-layer salad
Green Bean Casserole
Cheesy Potatoes
Corn Casserole
Pumpkin Pies

I normally bring a pumpkin roll too....which I will if we are going to make it there in time to eat....and I'll also bring the bread cornucopia stuffed with cheeses & grapes.

Yum!!! So far we are having Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Cheesy Green Bean Casserole, Macaroni Salad, Cole Slaw, Deviled Eggs, Baked Corn, Cranberry Salad, and Glazed Carrots.

Then for dessert it's going to be Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Pie, Pumpkin roll, and Butterfinger Dessert.

Well, they predicted a lot of snow for us this week, and sure enough, it's a veritable winter wonderland out there now!

We got a foot of snow the last 36 hours, and now we are under a "lake effect" snow watch for another 4 inches until later tonight. It is a pain to shovel, but, wow, is it pretty. It truly looks like a picture from a Christmas card. Stunning.

Next up, a possible 4-8 inches next Tuesday from the next incoming system
