Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening,

Very long day today, the turkey season is beginning to really take its toll on my body, as it does every year at this point. My joints are aching, muscles sore, and general fatigue. Another week and a half to go for the major rush on frozen turkeys, they really stop selling the Monday before Thanksgiving.

I am really looking forward to "Northpole" tomorrow night, Hallmark seems to really be making a push on this movie. I have seen merchandise everywhere for sale for this movie.

It is mid-November and my Crazy Christmas T-shirt collection has grown by 2 so far this year.

I know, it must be a sickness

We went shopping last weekend for a few things and we had to go back today. Gosh, it's like the rest of the world kicked off the season, too. The grocery store and mall was packed! It is a mad house! I love it!

We are watching some Christmas cartoons with the baby and hanging out. She is getting heavy-eyed, so we aren't far from bed. See y'all later!

Okay, so far I'm going to agree with Star. North Pole has just been okay. Not exactly what I was expecting from the previews and all of the toys.

That was a good movie, really enjoyed it. Missed the last word because of daughters coming down to ask things, but then they are more important than a chance at $1,000 of holiday money...right ?

It was good, just not what I was expecting. I thought there would be a whole lot more of the North Pole in it from they way they had been promoting it. I can tell you my niece's wouldn't have watched it longer than 15 minutes or so.

I agree, it was just okay. It felt more like a commercial for all of the merchandise you see in the stores. The commercials made me think it was going to be a Christmas fantasy about the North Pole.
