About to head to a concert with my best friend to celebrate her graduation from grad school after I go to a funeral for a former resident I worked with in my previous retirement community. I will miss her very much, but I am also looking forward to a great evening with my friend, even though it'll be 92 during the concert at an outdoor pavilion! Is it fall yet?!?!

We just finished our roast chicken dinner and watched the Wales vs Slovakia match. England kicks off in about 50mins so that is pretty much our evening. I will probably read while we watch the match. I'll zone in and out

It's cool, cloudy, and drizzly here---the weather, plus a mild headache, are making me drowsy and lazy today. Nothing important on deck today, which is a good thing. Mr. has either a cold or allergies. He's coughing and hoarse. The pollen has been really thick lately, so we're hoping the rain will dampen it down.

Yes!! It has been on for awhile, now. Even when the temperatures weren't as high as today, the humidity was.

I've got to go shopping after this shift and am absolutely dreading it. I always feel like I'm in the movie Mad Max when I go to the grocery on a Saturday.

Saturday can be a rough day to food shop, I usually try to go early but it doesn't always happen. Hope it wasn't too crowded for you!

Not much going on today. Got the grocery shopping done this morning, doing a second load of laundry and running a load in the dishwasher. As soon as the laundry is done, we'll be watching some movies for the rest of the day. On deck: Zootopia, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Hail Ceasar.
