Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Eve-eh-ning Folks. And velcome to my lab-or-atory! Bwaaaahahaha!!

(Well, it's really morning and I don't really have a laboratory but it sounded so Halloweenesque, I just couldn't resist.)

But there ARE a couple of things out there this morning to be frightened about. Things that go "bump" in the night (or day).
And the first scary thing is that there is a missing count number!
Days to the Season: 13 (UNDER TWO WEEKS LEFT!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 55 (UNDER 8 weeks remain!)

Wait. Didn't we have THREE counts yesterday? What happened to the first one??
Well, there is a good explanation. That first one is now completed and behind us. It is HALLOWEEN!
Therefore,

The second scary thing is our remaining count. Just look how close we are now to SINGLE DIGITS to the start of Christmas Season 2016!
(It just doesn't seem possible, Guys. It's.....it's......downright terrifying!)


Great weather for the trip to the coast. Moderate temps with no precipitation at all. We confirmed no hurricane damage and got the cottage winterized.
(And thus another rental season ends. The cycle will start back again in April for Rental Season 2017.)
We show 60 degrees here right now, with nice weather predicted for the balance of the week.


Now, before I forget, an Emerald City sized THANKS! to our own Wizard of Edge for safely seeing to it that we did not miss a count day yesterday.

Good Friday morning! A 3-day weekend for me. But work is never done. Here is what I just made for a bake sale at work today. My first time working with candy melts, I did ok I think. Time to drop these off and then run around for some errands. I've been fighting off a headache since yesterday afternoon, I need to get some Tylenol becausecit's not going away on its own. Good Morning/Afternoon christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a spooky Halloween so far....In just over an hour Trick r treaters will be knocking at the door....I am all ready now just going to have an early dinner....Have a spooktacular Halloween night...:eek:

How cute...I love princess costumes. My youngest daughter LOVED Disney princesses...we had so many dress up clothes...lol

Sure doesn't feel like I had a longer weekend. LOL!!! I'll be heading back to the lake after work to do some cleaning - just didn't feel like doing it on our Sunday! ;) Then later this week since it's supposed to be nearly 80º we'll go out there & blow out the water lines. So sad!!!

Happy Halloween, Holiday!!!!! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend!!!! Boo to closing down the lake for the year!! 80 degree's to start off November is crazy though!!!
