Just lost another person a very close friend of ours he just hit the floor yesterday morning and bam he's gone at 47... I just don't understand it I go to church every week practice my catholic faith as best as I can but sometimes I just wonder about it all .. He left a wife a 6 year old son and an 19 year old son . Sorry to vent but this is my refuge from the real cruel world ... Just hope we're all heading to someplace greater, that's what I'm lead to believe but sometimes I wonder if gone is just gone .......

Sorry to hear that Rach. Sometimes I don't think any of us can explain or understand why something like that would happen. However, I can tell you I am pretty certain that gone is not just gone. I never will forget a priest in 7th grade explained to us what death is. He said "The body is like the wrapping on a present. The body dies eventually just like when you take the wrapper off the present. However, the present is the person's soul...that is the person you talk to every day, their personality, who they are etc...and that never dies." Hope you feel better and hope that you find some peace about everything.

Good Morning Christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Its not so cold here today no frost to scrape of the car windscreen this morning..Went to our local Tesco store this morning for milk and did i get a bargain when i was in store...Wrapping paper 4m was reduced from £2.50 to 10p..I bought 10 rolls and was skipping to the checkout lol...Also got Frozen Christmas crackers reduced from £4.50 to 50p I bought 6 packs so not a bad start to the day christmas buddies...Enjoy your day ahead christmas buddies

Because they are all coming to me, singing, bringing cake (with exploding lights), coffee, and gifts
And I love to have them all up in my bed. My favorite morning of the year ❤
T is taking me out for dinner tonight, just the two of us. Looking forward to that

Have been hearing lots about a storm for all you folks on the east coast. I was a bit confused when I looked at the radar until the weather guy explained it...and then said it was inconsistent, but not sure what he meant by that. Anyway, hope you all stay warm and safe and build many snowmen !

Work today I think, I feel like I am coming down with something thanks to a co worker and drowning it is not working, just making me run to the bathroom more often. So trying to decide if it would be better to stay home today or just suck it up and go anyway.

Eliot Abrams (Accuweather/WBZ) this morning is saying 1 to 3 inches, with a warning that that will change if the storm track changes. My old home town is in the 1-foot-to-2-feet range.

My disappointment is deep in this storm, the newspeople start talking about a large snowmaker last week, and now for us anyway, it is going to be an event where we will be able to use a broom to remove it. I just want some beautiful winter weather.

(I just really want to surprise my wife with a sleigh ride for Valentine's Day)

I was 17 when I lost my dad to cancer when he was 45. I can totally relate to those feelings, but I strongly believe in an afterlife. I see too much of my father in my children to not believe in it. But it does make one wonder what His plan is when so many good people just up and die. Keep your faith RachRon, it can help you through your dark times. Thoughts and prayers for you, friend.

My cold isn't worse, but I am exhausted so I am taking it easy today. There are a few things I need to do for the store, but other than that, I am going to read and maybe even nap. Working this weekend and I can't be tired when I do as I have displays to arrange as well as customers to help.
