But no.
One more shocking figure to present!

And you read that first number right. We have started, as of today, a ONE HUNDREDS LEVEL SEASON COUNT SEQUENCE!
(Wow. Just how can we possibly be down in the 100's already??)


Quite nice here weather-wise yesterday and the predicted rain did not develope.
It's overcast here this morning with precipitation predicted for later today and into tonight.
We stand just over 69 degrees at this hour here in the capital city.

It is uplifting too see the count at 199 and under 200. I have a feeling the next 99 days are going to fly by. Won't be long till the BIG 100 milestone!

Merry Morning,
We woke up to light snow flurries again. Where was this back in December. Anyway it's not sticking here but it was heavy in some parts. Its bitter out and hard to believe we are almost in May with this weather. It's a three day weekend here with Monday as a holiday. Usually this is the kick off to the milder season and people start getting into summer mode. It's usually a BBQ weekend! I hope we get an actual summer to make up for this!

Hope you get some warmer temperatures soon. I grilled chicken the other night, it was the first time I used the BBQ this season. It was chilly, I had to bundle up when I went out!

On this platform, there are multiple ways to navigate around the website and the forums---the menu bars at the top, the sidebars, the nav bar under the running countdown near the top of the page, the drop-down box that opens when you hover over your screen name at the upper right---just poke around (when you have time to explore) and, literally, see where it gets you!

P.S. Glad to hear the tooth is improved! Hope the permanent crown fixes it for good!

I agree with Merry, it's all about exploring & getting a feel for the site.

I have been posting daily for @ the past 5 years, so that's why I can navigate pretty quickly. Just lots of practice

When you find a thread you like to follow, you can Watch it (next to thread tools at top of thread), and get notifications for it.
I use the New Post tab & Watched Threads tab at the top of the page a lot. They are great for the threads I visit daily, and they provide a quick & easy way to get to them.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! If today goes as fast as the last 3 days have then we'll be facing our TGIF friend again shortly. It's chilly out here but well it's spring. We get some chill and we've had a real spring this year with some ups and downs but mild temps/cool temps. Haven't gone from bitter cold to warm humid weather. It's nice to have in between weather for a while. Anyway off to work I go and I hope you all have a great day.

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !
we had a beautiful sunrise this morning. The house smells like fresh baked sourdough.
Penny is trying to get the milk out of my glass and then walking around my head so it is hard to type right now LOL. now she has curled up on my arm. I like mornings with her she is so cuddly.
Did a bunch of work reorganizing here at home. The basement area is becoming my cake workshop. No carpet down there and the space is no larger than a small bedroom so it is perfect for this. I will now be able to organize all my tools better and best of all will not have to put everything away at meal time anymore. (a real time saver). Told my son I just need an oven and a sink and I will be all set ! He just rolled his eyes and went back to reading.
I have plans for a new business and will tell you about it when I get it up and running if it works out. Will know after my new workshop gets inspected by the health department.

Just another ho hum day here, it was our anniversary but we really didn't celebrate it since we barely saw each other. With all the things the kids are into we get very little time during the week. We will celebrate more on Sunday when we go to the next Black Wolves game. Thank you all for the well wishes.
I went and visited my grandfather today, he is doing well, if you could just keep him in your thoughts and prayers, they discovered a spot on his lung. He says he is starting to feel old, and he doesn't like it, seems very run down. He is 93 years old after all.
Work will be beckoning early enough, so.....

One of the things that might help is that you can create a Watch List of threads that you would like to keep up with. That way you will get notifications when someone posts on the thread. It also means that your favourite threads are all together in a list so you can access them quickly instead of having to scroll through and find them.

You will find the Watch tab at the top right hand corner of the thread page. You will also find a Watched Forums and Watched Threads tab on the main bar. When you click those all your favourite threads/forums will be there for quick access.

You can set/adjust your notifications to suit.

I missed that it was your anniversary, so Happy Anniversary! I know all about being too busy to celebrate anniversaries, too. Elizabeth's birthday is on our anniversary, so we almost never recognize that. Hope you enjoy the game this weekend!
