Back from Asheville.
Back to the count.
......and back to a shock!
Just look how the count has advaced (thanks to the kind administrations of our dependable Brent and Edge):
Days to the Season: 190
Days to Christmas Day: 232
And the HALF WAY Milestone to Christmas Season 2016?
Well, we find that is but 8 days away -- ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!!
(See. All you have to do is step away for a bit and things get out of hand.)
It was cold in Asheville. Forties, with a stiff wind and an occasional drizzle.
But the trip to the very impressive Biltmore house was quite nice. Well worth the visit!
Today should be sunny and warmer, but it has started off a bit chilly at 53 degrees back here again in the capital city.

Happy Saturday! Still lightly raining..hope it ends soon! Tonight we are going to my friend's house, they just adopted a 3 y/o cocker spaniel named Molly. This is the friend that lost her dog unexpectedly a few months ago. So we are going to watch The Kentucky Derby and have dinner. The girls and I are going to go and pickup a little welcome gift for Molly some toys and maybe a bone. Hope you all have a great day!

Just finished cooking breakfast and cleaning the kitchen. I have to head out as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. I have to make a big food shopping trip. I have some cleaning to do afterward. Then I'm going to try and prep whatever I can for Mother's Day so I can enjoy the day tomorrow. I have to squeeze a workout in at some point as well. I got on the scale this morning and I already dropped a couple of pounds! I'll pop back in when I can. Keeping all of you in my prayers, hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone. Just working today and looking around and making plans for Halloween and Christmas. The year has been moving along so fast and with a move coming up it seems that going to be a very busy year.

Morning my merry friends! I hope you all have an amazing day! Today is my mom's birthday, it just happens to fall right before mothers day this year. We're going to do visit her in a bit and then my wife might go out with her mom for a pre-mother's day dinner while I watch our little frostling. Looks to be a nice sunny day!

Harper is doing wonderful. She is about ready to have her second dance recital this month and she heard that they are starting auditions next month for Nutcracker. The other day she got to take a picture with this X-Wing that was down the street from us. Not sure what she was doing in the pose though lol.
