Well that's good the 1st round went well so far. Hope you remain pain free! And yes, I hope you can put dental work behind you for a very long while!!!

Today is going pretty well, thanks! Looks like the sky is getting dark. Hope it's not raining by the time I get off work but there's a good change. I'm getting a much needed hair cut after work, I'm pretty excited about that. Ha ha! Looking forward to the holiday weekend! What about you? What's it looking like as far as you being off work this weekend?

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon. I am making bbq baby back ribs for dinner. I slow cook them in the oven for about 4 hours and they fall right off the bone. It is so warm today..I am thinking I may have to turn on the AC upstairs tonight just to cool it down to sleep. I will check in with you all later!!

Well, I need to scoot out of here as close to 3:30 as I can to pick up Mom & go get our hair done. I'm going to get groceries while my sis does Moms hair. I'll bring Mom back home & start getting food/drinks & clothes ready for the weekend. YAY!

It's going to be another scorcher today- we had a brief cool down yesterday with the storms that rolled in, but the humidity stuck around.

Good morning all!
Today is my Friday and tonight I start my long weekend. Dillon, my oldest boy at 23, will be home for the weekend too. So excited to spend time with him. Now that I think about it, this will be the first time since last Christmas that all three kids have been home at the same time. Michelle(wife/kindergarten teacher) is sleeping in this morning now that school is out. I wish I got 8 weeks off in the summer. PAID!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! It was a mild night but with my window open and my fan on I still wound up going under my blanket. Not bad sleeping weather yet...by the weekend might be really humid hence why the a/c is going up on Saturday. Today I'm just looking to have a good day at work and then we can start tonight to build the excitement for the Memorial Day weekend ahead.

And the numbers do indeed inform us that we are now UNDER 2 weeks away from our next Milestone, the 200-day Christmas Day Window.
And the following day, we start a double-100's count as we advance steadily onward towards Christmas Season 2016!


Sure as predicted, we had a nice, warm, sunny day with no rain yesterday.
More of the same today which is good for a painting project I am working on.
We stand just under 68 degrees outside here at this hour.

My husband just left work, I have a few minutes to myself before my youngest wakes up. She has a gym class this morning, it's required for college. She figured she'd get it over with this summer. My two oldest have off today so they're sleeping in. Not sure what they have planned. I'm going to see if they want to go out for lunch. It's going to be warm again today, we'll have a high of around 85 degrees. I'm just having my coffee and working on a menu plan for Memorial Day. Typical day of errands and chores for me.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I got the grass cut, and the yard looks great! A low-hanging pecan tree limb scratched my arm pretty good, though. And since I take a blood thinner, I had blood running down my arm. I cowboyed-up and finished the yard, and when it was done, I looked like I had lost a knife fight LOL. Sorry, I guess that was a pretty yucky mental image.

Anyway, Brad 1, Tree Limb 0.

Good Morning All- Very warm day here today...which is actually fine with me! Just working today and tonight I am running out with my youngest daughter to get some snacks for tomorrow night. She is having seven 10 y/o sleeping over tomorrow night for her bday party. I am sure I will be exhausted on Saturday..lol Luckily it is a long weekend. Hope you all have a great Friday Eve!
