I'm glad to hear that Har seems to be adjusting well. I'm sorry to hear that she's having health issues again, I wonder if the stress of the move has anything to do with it. I hope the vet can help, please know that I will be praying for the both of you.
Maggie is coughing again. It's frustrating because she just finished another round of antibiotics recently. I may be putting a call in to the vet soon as well, I'm going to see how she does over the next couple of days. Seems like it's always something lately. Poor babies.

Aw, we're still croaking and coughing---had this cold our entire vacation! We've made doctor appointments, because this has gone on too long! Even so, we're having a good time. We get along pretty well during the day, but I cough all night.

I "liked" this post, but hate that your vacation is being hindered. Summer colds are the worst. Praying y'all recover soon!

1 down, 4 to go, vacation countdown is dwindling. It was a rather easy day, not as busy as I expected.
I decided to get a little extra time to MMC tonight since my wife is watching one of her favorite movies tonight, "Summer Catch," not one of my faves. I need time here, it has been so hard to come by lately.
I am heading to bed early, the quicker I go to sleep, the faster vacation will be here.

And through the entryway, we can just make out the next Milestone Marker up ahead.

Days to the Season: 139
Days to Christmas Day: 181

That pending marker is the 2/3 point to Christmas Season 2016.
And would you believe it's only 17 days away?
That's less than 2 1/2 weeks!


Real pleasant here yesterday with the humidity less of a factor.
Today may be the last fully dry one of the week, so I had better get that lawn mowed!
We have started the new week off here at 70 degrees.

Hello all! I have been away awhile but just realized as of June 21 I have been with you all for 7 wonderful years!

My 6 year old granddaughter was over here on her first day out of school for the summer, grabbed my Andy Williams Christmas CD, handed it to me and said, "can we listen to this and pretend it's Christmas"?! Of course we can! That's my girl!

Miss you all - hope you are all doing well!

Had my first bowl of Leek soup today. A supposed buddy brought it to the house. After 3 bowls...I cant get it off my breath and I believe its now in my sweat..lol! Wish I had this years ago for a "get out of school excuse"

Found a cool new book today while out messing around before work. It was at place called Ollie's which has all sorta os things and a great book area. This book called Christmas Unwrapping from Armchair Digest for 1.99 350 pages

Next time i go by the store I will check if they have anymore. Might get a few if they have and send them to Jeff and maybe do a contest or raffle. Somethings you go to the store and see 20 of somthing and you go back hours later to buy and all seem to be gone lol.

I JUST looked it up on amazon. Crazy...it's because it's rare. Rare stuff on amazon they charge 10-20 times the price. I've seen rare video games online that are worth like $40-50 really (not like they're great games) but because there are not many of that game made they sell them for $200-300.

Harlowe is doing pretty well adjusting! I think having my family here really helped, too. She adores them. We made it to a point yesterday that she didn't need to follow us from room to room, poor thing must have been exhausted.
She is starting to have some health issues again, but I have put a call into her vet. Hope to hear back soon, so we know how to proceed.

I really hope that the vet can figure out why little Harlowe has reoccuring infections. Sending good thoughts your way. But it's nice to read about her discovering her new home on her own.

My family had our bed set up and made for us when I got to the new house Saturday night. That was the best present! I was so exhausted.
Harlowe is having fun exploring!

That was lovely of them to do that. Two weekends ago my husband helped his friend's brother move and while the gang was making one last trip to the old place, hubby and friend brought all the bedroom furniture up and set up the bed.

Hope the doctor can figure this out and you get rid of this cold once and for all. I had a cold earlier this year and I had "residual" coughing for a long time afterwards. Are you taking anything at night to help with coughing so you can get some sleep?


Glad the work day is done and can't wait for supper to be ready (hubby is making penne arabiatta). Then we'll watch the Game of Thrones season finale. Have a great evening everyone!
