Crazy thing is neither the news nor my weather apps had it listed, just severe storm warnings with high winds & flash flooding. The clouds were moving fast, it was eerie & beautiful at the same time.

Interesting, just found out that in our county, they go off for severe thunderstorm warnings, as well. So you have to look into it deeper yourself.

We don't have sirens up here, after the tornado here in 2011. I signed us up for a code red alert warnings. We get calls at anytime for severe weather, including middle of the night.

I thought I'd come in here early, just in case this day gets as wild as the last couple were.

We had a viewing Wednesday of the commercial we've been recording for Bernie's store. As I mentioned, it's not for TV. It's a contest wherein 20 businesses will be selected to get a fancy, new pizza assembly and cooking station for their stores.

Anyway, the district sales manager for this pizza company was nearby that day, and stopped to view our progress. He was so impressed, he's offered to submit it personally to his home office with his recommendation. So, Bernie is excited! I hope he wins!

It was! At first I thought I was dreaming it, then I freaked out when I saw how fast the clouds & trees were moving.

Many years ago I found a really long hair in my subway sub. Now I'm not shallow, I know that can happen anywhere...but since then I have eaten very few subway subs (they aren't my favorite anyway) & when I do all I can think about is that darn hair. LOL!

TGIF everyone. We got the EPA tests results last night and our town's drinking water is ok. The gas leak was contained in time. My wife works for our local Health Department and is having a long busy week with the water issues.

Ready for the ber months and cooler temps. August is my least favorite month of the year. The hot weather is getting old. Kids have to go back to school and college. Not may good things happen in August.

Pretty calm storm season here, last week was the extent of it with the 3 severe t-storm warning in a single evening. Just really looking forward to the possible fall like cool down next week.

Another me type day here, except we had pizza from our favorite restaurant. So I guess that makes it a good day. One more day until my day off, just got to get through the dreaded Saturday. Only 126 more days until vacation, but who's counting.
I got woken up this morning by Tuukka licking my nose, these kittens are quite the handful, but constantly are making us smile.
