Very pretty!Love it!! Thanks!!!
It's so beautiful when the leaves are on fire with color, and snow falls amongst them!
If it makes you feel any better to have company ... we're expecting 88F today.I hope you have a great day, too, Made!
Everyone is bragging about their cool weather! It's time for me to increase my elevation. I'm ready for the mountains!
We had some snow on Thanksgiving Eve a couple of years ago. I don't know all this talk of snow just makes me want to say let's wait till December for any snow! Here's some October snow for you!

Yes!Just a question that passed through my mind. Do any of you ever get a little emotional when certain Christmas Carols are played and you listen to them quietly and very intently?

This one, especially:
I guess it's not actually a carol, though. How does a Christmas song become a Christmas carol?
Yes!
*Chills* It's so hauntingly beautiful! This is one of them for me too Stacey.
It is. It floods me with so many memories and also makes me think to the future as well.*Chills* It's so hauntingly beautiful!
Hope you are having a wonderful wedding week!
I like that you do that, nice tradition. It is. It floods me with so many memories and also makes me think to the future as well.
I always close the season with this song come january.
Thanks! And have a good one!Time to check the insides of my eyelids for awhile. Great chatting with you all today and some terrific posts. I be back with MMC in the morning. Oh and the movie (okay one of the movies) that gets me at the end is the original Bishop's Wife, when David Niven is beginning his sermon on the "Empty Stocking".
I always thought that would be a good one to finish.View attachment 29824
Goodnight all.
Well, it's not really a carol but the song Same Old Lang Syne makes me sad. It's not the lyrics, either. I've never liked that song and my dad hated it! We used to make jokes about it any time it was heard and talked about how cheesy it is (in our opinions). Long story short, now that he's gone I can't hear it without thinking of him and it makes me a bit sad. But, it reminds me of him so I now listen to it, even though I don't like it.Just a question that passed through my mind. Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I like that you do that, nice tradition.
It's also part of one of my favorite scenes in The Family Stone, I bawl every time I watch it.

Goodnight all.
Good evening,
Well the stress that has consumed me for the last 2 months is over, if you remember I had said a while back I had a major announcement to make. The time is now.
We have finally booked our family trip to Disney World!
I have spent hours upon hours going over every little detail of this trip for nearly 3 months now. I wasn't doing it only for the 4 of us, but my in laws too. Making sure I had everything lined up for 8 people. There are a few more loose ends to tie up, tickets to Universal and rental car, but basically it is just a matter of a few clicks on the computer now. It is such a huge relief to finally have this done. I honestly never thought it was going to be as stressful as it was.
I hope you all had a great day
Goodnight, everyone
That's wonderful!! I hope everything falls into place & you have a perfect wedding day! Are you taking any kind of honeymoon at a later date? Just curious - my nephew got married in August & they aren't honeymooning until January. Seems like more people are doing that.We have all the major stuff taken care of. Just a few little bits to wrap up, otherwise we are mostly done. Decorating and rehearsal on Friday and I have a 4 day weekend this weekend. Have a great day, Holiday!!
