Well, yes and no ... a few weeks ago I found a chocolate orange high up in a kitchen cupboard. The expiration date wasn't until December, but the summer heat and humidity had been hard on it and it had "bloomed" (had that gray look chocolate gets after it softens and hardens several times) and tasted stale. Next time I have an extra chocolate orange I'm puttin' it in the freezer for safekeeping.
Oh yeah in the summer it's hard to keep anything out (especially this summer)!

And a fantastic day to you as well Edge. Don't do the candy as much anymore. The metabolism seems to have slowed a bit and I really do not want to have to go beyond 36s... :D
Going to be in the 70's here again today, but the end of the week will see temps drop back down. Now let's see what happens on Sunday?
Hmmmm... maybe...

Well chocolate tastes too good to me. A few pieces won't hurt you.

Happy Pinesday, Christmas friends!

It's a nice day so far, but it's supposed to get up in the low 90's. Maybe the humidity won't be too bad.

I've been tasked with wording an Appreciation Plaque that we're planning to present to our boss, Russell, next week. I think I'm getting too wordy, with too many $5 words. I need MerryCarey's help! LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Doing a Plaque really takes me back to my Military days. I always tried to do something unique for each, but there were times a traditional one (one received by many) was more desired. Have fun doing it and a nice day.

Happy Pines Day, Holiday!
Hope your morning is going well!
Have a beautiful day~
See you tonight =]
Thank you! Day is going pretty well!
I didn't sleep real well last night - we should have chatted! ;) We had a little "incident" in the neighborhood last night w/ a stranger (male) aimlessly walking around our subdivision carrying a bottle of cleaner. Said he was a Kirby salesman. Didn't have any ID & no cell phone. Said his driver was coming to pick him up...this was 8:30pm - it was dark out. Sheriff came & talked to him. He was going to stick around & try to get the license plate # of the driver that picked him up. Never did hear how it turned out but I sure am curious. Just made it hard to fall back to sleep when I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about that.
Emma has a cleaning job today - I told her when she left she should lock Moms door incase the Kirby salesman is out & about again today. He could walk right in her house! UGH!
Anyway....have a wonderful day!

I know, poor girl can't catch a break <3

Thank you~

No kidding! Work is crazy busy for him, too.

Thanks for the {{{hugs}}}, sending some back to you and Gracie!!
Thank you!
Miss Gracie goes to see her friend Kelly this afternoon. (groomer) She'll be excited! LOL

Morning H,
I have had a good day so far thanks. Today flew by! Going to start dinner. Hope you are having a day!
I was going to ask what you are making but I see snowflake already took care of that & it sounds delicious!!!
@snowflake22 - pick me up on the way. I'll bring the Hot Toddy! ;)

Is everyone having a wonderful Wednesday so far??? I'm having a busy one so far but maybe that means it will fly by. We're still experiencing some warm temps here in MD but the humidity seems to be staying away so it's tolerable. We've got church this evening; prayer meeting for me and Master's club for Lizzybeth.

London and I were discussing how busy our schedules have become since school has started back up for she and her sister and with her now working. She was saying how she feels like she never sees us anymore because all our free time is taken with some sort of church event. I looked over my calendar for the next month and she's right. I have something planned just about every weekend from this weekend until the end of October, with only two Saturdays where I'm free. But it's not all church stuff. We've got a Halloween party on the 22nd and the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure race on the 23rd. I'm so busy in fact that I don't have time to do anything as she calls it "fun" for my b-day this Sunday. I'll be in church practically all day minus a few hours between 1-3:30pm. So I've decided to push my birthday celebration to October 1st (which would have been my dad's 76th bday) and if she's not working we'll go see the Magnificent Seven. It was my dad's favorite western and my mum would have loved it as well. They both loved westerns. If she's working then well...I guess we won't celebrate it this year which is okay because it's not a milestone b-day, just me turning 39.

Well, everyone have a great day and stay blessed.

Thank you!

Sounds fun for her. By the way, Rollins stands on his 2 back legs straight up leans against me and keeps himself standing while he moves in a circle almost as if he's dancing and pushing his paws against me every few seconds to keep his balance. Strong back legs? Don't remember Nitro doing that.

We should have!
I'm sorry that you didn't sleep well, that is unnerving about the guy.
Let us know if you find out any more to the story.
Keeping your Mom in my prayers, today. I'm sure she'll stay safe, but prayers are always a good thing =)

Enjoy that one day each year you can call your own. Happy 39th ahead of time. Let's see... 39... that would have been 1993 and I was stationed up in Grand Forks, ND. How time flies when you are having fun.:)
I understand about busy weekends and I try to "schedule" myself one here and there to try and relax a bit. Enjoy the movie, I loved the original with a bunch of unknowns like Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn and James Coburn. I wonder what ever became of them... lolMagnificent Seven.jpg
