Everyone, have a wonderful evening!!! I may try to log on later since I didn't have much of a chance to hang out w/ my Christmas peeps today! I want to watch The Great Pumpkin & Garfield Halloween tonight after cleaning at the lake. Also working on an LTD order - free shipping today! I'm ordering for some lake friends too - we already have nearly a $200 order. EEK! LOL

I'm at work but wanted to wish everyone Happy Halloween! Hope the kids (and kids at heart) are all enjoying the holiday.

Since the teeth I had ordered to make props for my toothfairy costume didn't arrive in time, I improvised and made the following accessories out of felt (bracelet, chain and wand).

I really enjoyed seeing people smile and laugh when they saw my costume. Got lots of compliments from customers too. But I can't wait to get out of this tulle skirt!

We have so many dress up clothes between my parents and Mikes parents, but she always needs a new one
 
Hope everyone had a great Halloween. Carolina went trick or treating and lasted almost 2 hours. I went through her pumpkin and sorted what she could and could not have after she went to bed. I think and kl that walking was exhausting for her. Goodnight everyone!
 
And that ends another successful Halloween. I think overall we handed out close to 1000 pieces of candy, mini bags of popcorn, pretzels and cheese balls. The kids and parents were great no problems or incidents. In other words... my kind of Halloween.
I hope everyone else had an evening that went as well or better. 3 hours and 13 minutes until November.
Have a nice evening all of MMC and pleasant dreams... See you all next month.

Happy Halloween! I couldn't quite think of a costume last night, so I put on a bunch of brownish clothes and went as a bulletin board. I have a bunch of sticky notes and 10 different coloured sharpies that students can use to write notes and stick them on me. Not a great idea, but it's all right. I have so many ideas for costumes, I just never act upon them. If only I wasn't so lazy... I guess all my effort skips Halloween and goes right into Christmas!

It's a chilly morning here in Ottawa. Temperatures are about 2c/-2c. Brrr! Still, it actually feels comfortable to me, at least. Temperatures are going too be around freezing tonight, too. I hope the trick-or-treaters dress warm! As for the next rest of the week, we are suppose to reach double digits/upper 40s tomorrow or Wednesday, and then we're back down to comfortable/seasonal single digits.

Kim and I did some nice Christmas Blossoms-seeing on Saturday. I found a few Winter Wonderlands. I did not quite have the time to share everything on the weekend - we were relatively busy - but I will do my best to post them in the next couple days.

Well, I hope everyone is ready for a fun and safe Halloween! Kim and I will be giving out some candy to the neighbourhood kids tonight. I also have hockey at 11pm. I really hope I can take a nap sometime after going to the gym tonight, too. Busy, busy, busy!

I love your bulletin board costume idea and if you don't mind, I am stealing it for next year. Hope you had a lot of kids at your door tonight.
