Good Morning MMC !

The weather outside is delightful, feels more like early fall than just over a month before Christmas. It will be sunny and 15c (59f). Have been outside without a jacket on.

Off to work in about an hour, it was crazy yesterday , hoping not so bad today.

Going to redesign my whole competition cake due to lack of time to do what I had planed. New design may actually work better.

What changes are you making to your design? I've had that happen to me at work, not always fun to change mid-way but sometimes the second idea is the better one. It's going to be quite mild here today as well. Let's enjoy it while it lasts and have a fantastic day as well Christmasstar.

Good morning ~
Merry Tuesday!
We're expecting showers today with a high of 52 degrees. I'm fighting off a headache this morning thanks to the barometric pressure. Just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I have to get moving because everyone will be waking up soon. Bella has a veterinarian appointment later this morning. I was going to do some food shopping as well but I might hold off until tomorrow, I'll see how I feel. I'm going to finish decorating my Hallmark tree today. I was only able to hang all of the magic ornaments yesterday, I'll definitely finish the rest today and post a picture.

Hope you will feel better as the day goes HMG. Here's to Bella getting some relief from her allergies after her visit to the vet, poor little thing. Can't wait to see a picture of your tree all decorated Take care of yourself and have a great day.

Good Tuesday morning! Another mild day coming up but mornings are still chilly enough to wear a tuque. More chores to get done today and I'll download some new Christmas music to add to my playlist. That is going to be a lot of fun! I haven't been in a hurry to do it because I usually listen to music in the car only but being on vacation, hubby uses the car daily. I've been looking at new recipes for the gift box I give my family members at Christmas, still not settled on this year's selection. Wishing everyone a fantastic day coming up!

Happy Tuesday Whitney. I have quite a few of the Star Trek ornaments myself and use to have a huge Star Trek wreath. But I have not done that for awhile. The only one that ever made it to the tree was the Shuttlecraft with a greeting from Spock. I'm sure it is just me, but they did not seem right on my tree. Hard to believe in Santa? I use to always play the original Miracle on 34th Street for my kids. At the time it did the trick. So relax, light a pine candle, close your eyes for a moment and let the spirit come to you...

Good Morning, Season Supporters and Christmas Chasers.

Moving right along, into Christmas Season Day 3.
Moving right along in our remaining count as well.

Days to Thanksgiving Day: 9 (SINGLE DIGITS, Folks!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 40 (40 Days and 40 nights. Brings on a flood of emotions, doesn't it?)


Still pretty coolish here yesterday but not as bad as Sunday.
Now today will be quite nice with highs back into the mid 60's. We may even flirt with 70 later on in the week.
This third day of Christmas Season 2016 has commenced beautifully sunny and calm at 44 degrees here in the capital city of North Carolina.

Only a few more days until you get some time off to really enjoy the holiday season. It's good that you can be there for your departed friend's family. Never easy to attend those sad events but so important to give support. Hope the next few days go by quickly for you.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday! After a whirlwind weekend, I guess it's time to get settled back into the work week! Actually I can't settle too much - I need to get things ready for hosting Thanksgiving!! It's sneaking up on me!

I hope everyone's Tuesday is off to a good start!

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! A rainy day here and after a 3 day weekend no wonder the alarm woke me out of a sound sleep. But after today the weather looks about as nice as it can get for Wednesday through Saturday with sunshine and highs near 60! After that looks like we head for a November chill. Maybe just in time for Thanksgiving week. The mall felt like it's all set up for everyone to burst into Christmas. Decorations all over, an empty Santa chair set up, Christmas music playing...and you can just feel it. It's a great feeling. And it's just about to begin.

I've seen a lot of houses with their outside decorations up already and most of them have turned them on. I think people are taking advantage of the mild weather right now to get it done. Mid-November, there's no stigma here in turning on the lights. I've always wondered why a lot of people in the US frown upon decorating before Thanksgiving. Hope you'll have perfect weather this weekend to hang up your decorations Frosty.

I started hearing Christmas music in the stores this past weekend, really puts you in the mood. Here too we're supposed to see a real dip in the temperatures next week. Hope you have a nice day back at work Edge.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's been another hectic few days, and today is no different. I walked in the door here at work to several pressing questions, and one inoperable phone system. As you know, on top of my regular duties, I am the unappreciated and unpaid local IT tech who know almost nothing about the phones, but everyone is complaining to me about their absolute NEED for the phone. LOL "I don't do phones, people!"

I mentioned yesterday in a quick post that Jacob's gig last Friday night with the country music girl didn't pan out. After they droved 4.5 hours to central Florida, the place turned out to be more punk rock than country music. Ha! Her manager apologized profusely for mixing things up, and they came home. His University Singers concert in Savannah on Sunday, however, was AWESOME! It was a fund-raising concert to raise money for Hospice, and they sang beautifully.

We're going to the mountains again for Elizabeth's birthday present. A trip to the mountains seems like a birthday present for me, too!
