Well it was an accident?Gracie knocked her 1st bulb (THIS year) off the tree at lunch. Usually she does that when we're not home. Little booger! She didn't hurt it, just knocked it on the floor!!

(I'm hoping to get outa here soon - the repair shop picked up the Durango to put new tires on it today & it's not back yet. Of course I didn't bring a coat - can't walk home. LOL!!)

Glad to hear it!I will let you know! I am enjoying the sunshine - even though it's CHILLY out there! I made 2 batches of peanut brittle at lunch. Need to make brittle while the sun shines!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful time.
Nathan (oldest son) had a band concert this evening. He plays drumset for the jazz band. The concert went well. He also had is audition for the school play just before the concert. He said that went well also. He had to do a monologue of his choosing. He did "Modern Man" which is a George Carlin bit. Nathan is a HUGE Carlin fan!
The weather is turning nice and cold here! They are forecasting some snow this Sunday!
Then next week so are suppose to get some really cold weather! I am loving it!

I finally am caught up again, it was a long day here. I am still not finished with my decorating, this year feels like a lost cause at this point.
Two more work days left until NYC, I am so excited, I cannot wait to see the Rockefeller Center tree.

Morning all and a Merry Friday eve to one and all. Random thought of the day. Imagine how much more you'd get done if you didn't have to sleep.
Morning MMC! Another day closer...it's really starting to feel like it more and more to me. This weather is definitely helping as opposed to last December. We haven't had much snow (yet) but it has been pretty chilly (at least close to normal) and compared to last December where it felt like spring most of the month it's a nice change. I have most of my gifts but I need to start wrapping this weekend. I also need to help buy a good amount of food this weekend. Time to really get ready.
