So much to do and so little time. I still have lots to wrap. My next day off is Thursday and Friday I work til midnight tonight and tomorrow and open Sunday. Looks like all my Christmas prep will be crammed into those 2 days I'm off. Mikes mom went to the hospital last night for chest pains. They were keeping her overnight and so far I have heard no news in how she is
Hope Mike's mother is doing better today. Keeping your family in my thoughts.

Good Morning, MMC~

Merry Friday!! TGIF!!!

It's a cold, but beautiful winter wonderland here. We have a winter storm advisory, 6-11 inches today, white out conditions expected later this afternoon when it gets heavier. It continues tomorrow with another couple of inches forecasted.
Sunday, our high is -8 degrees :oops:o_O

I think I will stay put for the most part, and get some wrapping done, watch Christmas movies, and maybe bake some more. Our friends are having us over Saturday night for a Christmas get together. Should be a cozy weekend~
I also want to stick close to home for Harlowe, she has been struggling overnight all week. It's making me very nervous, as it's been consistent and all night long. I have a call into her cardiologist, to rule out any side effects. We're hoping it's not another disease that Cavaliers are prone to. Please keep her in your prayers.

Have a blessed, safe, and merry day!

We'll be getting a lot of snow as well but temps will warm up. Stay safe in that storm. I'm sorry to hear about Harlowe having rough nights. Hoping your cardiologist can provide quick answers and some relief, poor little Har. Enjoy your upcoming weekend.

Good Afternoon/Evening christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a merry day so far..Didn't make work today as i was up most of last night being sick...The bug has been going through my work place..Havn't managed to eat much today but i have stopped being sick for the mean time...Heading back to bed in a bit to see if i can shake this off...Enjoy your last weekend before christmas-holidays-
Feel better fast prancer! Bugs of all kind are going 'round, take good care.

It's -27 C right now, I think Santa might bypass Canada this year.

Hey everyone!!!! Been crazy for me and the wife...two teenage girls in HS sports and a teenage boy in school activities plus having a FT job and 2 PT jobs keeps one hopping. But I don't work at the FT job til next year and one PT job til the Thursday after Christmas. Had a great Christmassy day today. With the snowstorm here, the kids got out of school early which means I got done early. Watched Deck the Halls and It's A Wonderful Life with the wife. Now we're watching Christmas Vacation with my little girl! Time to enjoy the Christmas Season!! Have a warm, cozy evening/night!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON 2016 DAY 35 **

Good Morning, Friends!
Getting menacingly and dangerously close to Christmas Day now.
Better rush those preparations to completion with all deliberate speed!

The frightening data:
Days to Christmas Day: 8 (ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!!)
Can you believe it, Folks? Christmas Eve one week from today?
No way. Just not credible.
And yet. The count. Oh, that count!
(It never lies, Guys.)

Quite a miserable day here yesterday. The temperature never went above freezing. It was cloudy most of the day and somewhat windy as well.
(Felt much more like the pit of January rather than the waning days of Fall.)
This morning has also started off quite cold (and a little icy) at 30 degrees but we should warm up nicely into the 50's then take off tomorrow into the low 70's before crashing down to a high of 40 on Monday.
(Who can figure the whims of Mother Nature?)

Anyway, I hope and trust you will have a Sensational Saturday and a Fantastic Final Weekend before Christmas Eve, Everyone!

Good morning MMC...we are having some snow here but it is supposed to turn to rain in a few hours and then we will head up to Boston. Hope you all have a great day and so excited we are so close to Christmas Eve!

8 days??? Someone hit the pause button!!!!

Freezing rain overnight. Roads are a skating ring. People stuck on the interstate for 9 hours. Think I'll delay my grocery trip until later this afternoon. Then more freezing rain overnight tonight again.

Thanks Crown! 1 week till Christmas Eve!!!

Same here we have a winter wonderland out there...supposed to be milder and wet on Sunday. If this was next Saturday it would have been cool to get snow on Christmas Eve!

Morning! 1 week till Christmas Eve (the best day of the year IMO). Unreal. We have a winter wonderland out this morning. It's going to be milder later though and wet so everything will be slushy. I won't name what I have to do today because it's crazy...I really don't have enough time and my Uncle wants us to go over tomorrow. I have too much to do so I'm not sure if I will. My brother came in last night from San Diego. He is here so all is good! Hard to believe it's that time again!!!

Good morning ~
Woke up to a few inches of snow. I'm sitting in my car right now waiting for my youngest to finish taking a final exam. I ended up driving her because the roads are awful. It's a pretty long drive and she's sick on top of it. She was relieved to not have the added stress of driving in this mess. I'm glad I drove, we saw several accidents on the way here. The highways weren't even plowed yet. The snow is starting to turn to rain now, hopefully the ride home will be better. Not too much planned for today. I was supposed to food shop but I think I'll hold off and order pizza for dinner. I didn't get much sleep last night, we got in very late from the Christmas party. We had lots of fun so it was worth it! I'll probably wrap gifts later today since I haven't even begun to do that yet. I'm going to take it easy tomorrow as well. Lots to do this upcoming week. Can't believe we're only one week away. So exciting <3
I hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

Stay safe made! Freezing rain is my worst nightmare. I lived in a shelter for 8 days during the great ice storm of 1998 because we didn't have electricity, and they are predicting some later tonight and I'm very weary already.
