Hello All!

Well, the Little League Football team has all of its equipment. Things went smoothly and all of my players actually showed up. It is always nice (and sometimes quite interesting) to see all of the kids with parents outside of practice.

Nathan's room is pretty much packed up now. He has his clothes and stuff he needs for the rest of the week and what he needs to pack for Basic Training still out; but everything else is in bins so he can get them later. It took him most of the day yesterday to get it done, but it is done.

I didn't see much Hallmark at all last night. It was so nice outside! Neighbors stopped over, my niece & her hubby stopped over on their new bicycles. I went to moms... the night flew!

Evening all! They sure wern’t Kidding when they said we were going to get some storms! Whew, some of them were pretty intense. It’s been raining steadily now for hours; we needed it too!
Now I’m looking for those cooler temperatures to start rolling in.

It’s awful. I’ve never been a big fan of dog days of summer. I prefer the Fall months most of all, cooler, better to work in outside and the bugs aren’t as bad.

The best thing about the dog days is having Hallmark Christmas on tv!

Good Wednesday morning! I had a rough day yesterday, which started with me forgetting my work keys at home. Thank goodness I only live about 10 minutes away. Then I felt a lot of frustration because all day I was asked to do things all over the store but when it came time to do my own work, our system was incredibly slow and I wound up having to go to another store and ended up working 2 hours extra to get things done. I can rest a bit this morning as I'm working the afternoon/evening shift. I'm currently enjoying a cool breeze flowing through the appartment as the high humidity has dropped. And I'm enjoying some toast with the strawberry jam we made this weekend, one of my favourite things about Summer. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

Happy Pines Day MMC! We had some thunderstorms yesterday and that knocked some of the humidity out thankfully. Should be a nice day out there today. Just found out yesterday my brother got engaged. Not surprising as he's been with his girlfriend for about 5 years now. Have a great day!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's been a busy week, and it's only going to get busier. Elizabeth's play starts tomorrow night for four nights, and I'm ready to see her on stage again!

We also got notification from the University that Jacob made the Dean's List again! We're so proud of the way he's taken his education so seriously, and still manages to have a good time!

Our company allows us work anniversary gifts every 5 years, and this year I got a 65" TV LOL. It's HUGE! I put it in the living room yesterday, and Nancy says it's too big. No way! It's staying!

It did rain my way yesterday when I made chocolate chip banana bread and cherry strudel. It takes a lot of work pitting the cherries with a pear knife. It was a nice time though, alone in the kitchen with me and my thoughts.

The rain did make a difference in the pollen in my area as well. The last 3 weeks, the pollen count has been really high and effect the allergy sufferers. I am grateful for my allergy tea and hope to see some relief in the near future. Now that the weather is turning, Christmas season is getting closer.

Rocky is doing a bit better on his leash. He seems to want to walk me rather than vice versa lol. He pulls me in every direction. I’m sure he’ll get the hang of it sooner or later.
It’s so sweet how much Jazzie is enjoying her walks with you and Har. I love it <3

Harlowe is sweet to watch when Jazzie gets anxious, she just kind of walks near her and looks at her, and lays down. As if she's saying "What's the problem? All is good, little one." Then Jazzie relaxes a bit. Animals are so amazing.

Thanks, I did! It was really nice when I walked this morning, 57 degrees!
