Good snowy Pines Day morning MMC!!! It was snowing SO pretty this morning!! It has stopped now & left us with a windy/chilly/cloudy/dreary day....but at least there is a little white on the ground!!! :D (Maybe we'll get some more snow yet... xx)
Not much going on today - just work. I'll stop at moms after work & then I might just put on my pj's & snuggle in all night!!! (Ya right - sure does sound good though) :)

Hope you get more snow!
Love the Golden Girls! Was the Christmas episode the one where they were in a diner?

Late notice, but The Andy Griffith Show is a Christmas episode @ 10:14 am EST on TVLAND today. "The Christmas Story"

That is a great episode!

Merry Pines Day M! Stay safe in the snow!

Thank you! Merry Pines Day to you, Holiday!

Lol, I took off today in preparation for the blizzard/ nor’easter, and so far, it’s like hardly nothing outside. I’ve been watching the weather channel for the past two days, and the way they were talking this storm up, I was expecting that we were going to get a good snow storm.

Gosh, I sure hope I did not take off for nothing.

On a good note, we had put an offer in for a home, that was just cute, I equated it to a little gingerbread house, and we got the home. YEA!!!!!. So exciting!!!

We will soon be residents of East Haddam, Ct. in a couple of months.

Hope it has started snowing by you!
Congratulations on the new house!

Hello everyone! I have not been able to check-in for a bit so I thought now would be a great time to see how things are going! I hope everyone is having a great day so far. We have had snow flurries on and off all day but now it is sunny and windy (weird Ohio weather as usual). I am very sad that this weekend is daylight savings time. I do not like when we spring ahead and it is light outside for longer periods of time. That may be because I am REALLY not a fan of spring and summer!! Most people enjoy them, but not me! Unless I am at the ocean, (which is impossible here in Ohio!). Hope everyone has a great night!

Good to see you!

Happy days, this is a wonderful, snowy night. I spoke too soon, because, it was not doing anything outside, so the wife and I took a ride to another town about 15 miles away. Just then, bam, it hit. The snow started coming down at a rate to where it was very difficult to see the road in front of you. I got excited, I reached down to the center console and put in a Christmas CD; oh yea!!!!

All of that snow, It was nothing for my truck. I put it in four wheel drive (for me, it’s 6 wheel drive) and I was good to go. We drove back from the other town with no problems at all, then we drove around a little bit more closer to home, and then I took her down to the shore line and put on all the lights on truck and shined them across the Long Island sound. It was really wild. We saw lightening and heard the thunder. We jumped out of the truck, took some pictures. It was blizzard conditions out there and the snow was pelting us in the face and we just loved it. What a thrill it was.
On the way back to the place, we saw two houses had turned their Christmas lights back on, how perfect that was. Something you just don’t do and see every day!!!

Now we are back home, with the kitties, eating warm, soft chocolate chip cookies and drinking hot tea!

What an awesome night!!!!

Morning MMC. We wound up getting close to a foot of snow. It came down like crazy yesterday afternoon and I was glad that I decided to stay home. Today back to normal (I hope) although I heard we have no heat still. But I'm going to try to get through these next 2 days as our electric company says they will fix it by Friday. Pretty crazy start to March. Hope you all enjoy your Thursday!

Good Friday morning! I can't believe parts of the US got hit with another storm so soon after last week's. Hope everyone is safe. We got a dusting of snow overnight with more to come but no major accumulations. I worked 12 hours yesterday, I'm just glad I have a day off today, a day for laundry and other chores. But for now I'm just enjoying a relaxing morning with Loki sleeping on my lap. Have a great day everyone!

What an adventure you had. The thunder snow was very cool!
Have a Happy Thursday Xmastidings!

Merry Thursday MMC ~
It’s going to be partly cloudy with highs near 42 degrees. Kind of a busy day for me. Rocky has a vet appointment this morning. My youngest has a doctor appointment later this afternoon. I have to run a couple of quick errands as well. I’ll be working on daily chores in between. Dinner will be chicken Marsala. That’s about it. I’ll pop back in when I can. Hope everyone is well. Have a great day!!!
xx

Good Morning, Counters!
And each and every morning, we "count" on the latest figures to keep us informed as to the proximity of our holiday season of choice.

So, sans further tarrying, here are today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 250
Days to Christmas Day: 292

And the ONE-THIRD Milestone to Christmas Season 2018?
Well, that marker lurks just 7 days up the road. ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!
(We are leaving these channel markers in our wake at a dizzying pace!)

Rather chilly here yesterday, but we must remind ourselves that it is still officially winter and that spring will not arrive for the record until March 20, still twelve days off. (Let's try to hang on until then!)
Today has started off rather cold here, at 34 degrees, and we are not supposed to break past the 50 degree mark.

Well, the Crowns leave early tomorrow morning for the Alabama wedding of my first cousin's son, the first of his generation in our family to tie the knot!
As such, I leave you in the highly capable hands of our own unique Edge, who will guide us through the next three mornings.

Have a Thrilling Thursday and a Rousing Remainder of the week, Everybody!

We got the heavy wet snow overnight, as expected---lots of big branches down, and the snow is still winding down, so we're both working from home today. Nasty storm. Commuter rail derailments, and over 325,000 without electricity in the state. We're okay, but the power has flickered a few times...fingers crossed it stays on today.

I'm glad you don't have to go out in the storm. I hope the power stays on!

LOL! I'm just the opposite. Can't wait for the time change. Although I've enjoyed being cozy at home earlier at night over the winter - it's time to get moving (& gardening) again - ready or not!
I hope all is well with you & you have a Merry Friday Eve!
