Really tired of snow as well. Hope it won't be as bas they predict and that your power will stay on SnowflakeMom.Happy Monday!
Looks like we are getting more snow....ugh. They are saying 6-9 inches, please no more power outages!
Work for me today and I am making a roast in the crockpot for dinner.
Hope you all have a great day!
Good Morning, Friends!
The Crowns are back after a nice family weddng in Alabama.
Even though it was good getting together with family, it's good to be home again, too!
Also nice is the fact that our own Edge kept the count going without a break and with style. Many thanks, my friend!
But that's not all that is nice.
Just take a look at the latest count numbers:
Days to the Season: 246
Days to Christmas Day: 288
And in addition, just look how much closer we have drawn to Milestone number four.
It's the ONE-THIRD mark to the Season of Christmas and it now lies just 3 days ahead.
Why, that's LESS THAN HALF A WEEK, now!
How is this possible? That we should be so close already to entering the SECOND third of our Season count??
I'll let you ponder that one. To much for me to begin to understand so early in the morning, especially after the move to DST.
(I should still be asleep!)
The weather on our visit to Alabama was on the cool side and there was some rain, but no plans were upset.
For this week, we are predicted to remain on the cool side for the first half of the week, with even some possible snow flurries today.
Our current temperature is showing to be 37 degrees back home here in the capital city and it looks like it could start raining at any moment..
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone.
And I hope the week ahead will be kind to each and every one of you!
Sure! It was on Home & Family the other week. I'm cuttting the recipe in half. Hopefully it will be good! xxHappy Monday, Holiday!

We both fell asleep in front of the tv so early Saturday night, the time change didn't really affect us. LOL! I agree - love the light later at night. Was harder to wake up this morning though in the dark!Good Monday morning! Changing the clock this weekend did a number on David and me. Last night we fell asleep around 7:45pm and we slept until 5:45am. But I much prefer having daylight at the end of the work day, I just wish we didn't have to change the clock back. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift, so time to make some supper and start getting ready for work. Have a great day everyone!

And lastly, my favourite new item in the store... vintage ceramic trees. My gram and pop used to have these in their house. Now that they've both passed on, it's strange to finally see it in a store again. I told my mom this morning and she was super excited. It will be great to have another way to remember them at Christmas.

The large green ones won't be in until August. The white ones are actually pretty nice, too, though!
That looks gorgeous, Holiday! I've been looking for one for years (although not online)... so glad they finally got them in here!
Happy Birthday to your Mom!!Merry Monday MMC ~
Today is my mothers 76th birthday, the girls and I are taking her out for lunch. I need to run to the supermarket afterward to pick up a few things. We have another nor’easter heading our way tomorrow and we’re expecting several inches of snow. I can't wait until we get some warmer temperatures. I’m dying to walk Rocky and start potty training outside, I’m so over these wee wee pads! Anyway, I’ll be working on daily chores when I get the chance and I’m making Italian Wedding Soup for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx
Our friends made it for us - probably 20 years ago! I still ♥ it!That looks gorgeous, Holiday! I've been looking for one for years (although not online)... so glad they finally got them in here!
It's been snowing off & on since about 11:00 - it came down hard for quite awhile. No accumulation, but it sure is pretty!!!

I hope you all get some sleep tonight. I have been sleeping on the couch the last few nights b/c of the dogs. I usually sleep good on the couch, but they have been waking me up in the middle of the night. And Miss Lucy jumped on me several times in the wee hours of the morning to lick my face today. LOLSame here! It stopped snowing around 1:00 p.m. & now the sun is out.
We are all so, so tired at my house! The time change usually doesn't bother us, but DD had a weekend trip this year so she's zapped. I didn't sleep well all weekend, with my better sleep coming on the couch last night after midnight. Hopefully, we can recover this week.
Merry Monday MMC ~

It's been a really long time since I've had a good Irish coffee...or any Irish coffee at all!! Hope you enjoyed!!!![]()
Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
It was a long three-day weekend from work, but not from responsibilities. Elizabeth did end up with my bronchitis, but managed to sing at the school's region competition on Friday. Her events won first place in Trio and second place in Duo Oral Interpretation, so now they're going to state next week. She also dance in competition on Saturday, but we had to leave early, because she felt so bad. She's better this morning, though.
Jim's wife is still struggling in the hospital, and can still use prayers and positive thoughts. As a matter of fact, so could Jim and baby Rosa.
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
Ha ha! Poor Palmer!! I hope her treats arrive today! xx Lucy was supposed to get elk antlers last week Thursday & they have been postponed until tomorrow. Probably a good thing or the big horse (house guest) would have chewed them down to nothing. LOL
Have a great day M!
We're going to visit Gloria, as we couldn't go to see her last year. She is so excited, and so are we!
As for the snow, we'll definitely be getting more than we want, because we didn't want any more at all. Forecasts are calling for 10 to 15 inches this time, but at least it'll be a fluffier type less likely to bring down more trees. The only silver lining is the opportunity to work from home, which means I get to crochet while I'm waiting for jobs to come in. Boy, have I been using up yarn in the past 10 days throughout these storms!
Wishing you a wonderful Monday!
