Merry Friday MMC ~
Happy June 1st!
It’s a dreary and foggy morning here. It will be cloudy with showers, highs near 75. I have to run a few errands this morning and then I’ll be working on the laundry. And today is my Daddy’s birthday, we’ll be getting together later tonight to celebrate!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Good morning!
Well, here we are in June. Wow is time flying by.
Today is a bit cloudy here in Ohio. Henry will be back at the lemonade stand today. He is very excited!

With it now being June, keep in mind that Christmas in July is soooo close. -sun-

I am hoping for another somewhat lazy day around the house. Today is my wife's last school day, though there are no students today, just cleaning and such.

We have a wedding to go to on Saturday and then we will spend the next few days making costumes for the Indy Pop Con next weekend. That is always our little get away.

Everyone enjoy your Friday!

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!!! Looking forward to the weekend at the lake! I'm meeting my friend/neighbor out there early this afternoon. If it's not raining we're going to plant her flowers...and grab a bite to eat! :) No major plans for the rest of the weekend, which is fine. Hopefully we'll get some pontoon time in!! Oh wait...the guys are in a golf tournament tomorrow - it will be a girls day out! :D

My niece & her hubby moved into an apartment right down the road from us yesterday. I drove by at just the wrong time :p ... a big U-Haul was sitting in front of their place & vans & SUV's full of stuff. I guilted myself into helping. LOL! No big deal - it went fast! :) Then I went to visit at moms, mowed the lawn, sat on our patio awhile & poof - night was here & gone! My hubby was at the farm putting 28 on - I didn't even hear him come home. He said it would probably be midnight - it must have been!

Everyone, have a GREAT day!!!

TGIF and happy June 1st! I survived my daughter's field trip, we went to a local amusement park. We had a good group of kids and today for her chorus trip they are going to Six Flags...she is looking forward to more rollercoasters..lol Not too much planned for the weekend, looks like some rain is headed our way and I need to catch up on some laundry. Hope you all have a great day!!

My husband and I did go to the Midwest Vintage Holiday Show in Columbus last weekend. It wasn't huge which was fine with me because with my mobility issues I was nearing my "ok I need to sit down" point right when we got to the end! We saw so many beautiful old Christmas decorations: bubble lights, color wheels with aluminum trees, some of the prettiest Christmas china pieces I had ever seen, old stockings, old hard plastic decorations for outside. There was also quite a bit of Halloween, and I think I saw one or two tables with Easter decorations. Everything was so beautiful, but quite pricey. But after paying for parking, paying for admission for both of us to get in, and paying a $5.00 fee for using the ATM there, (plus what our bank charged us, grrr) I told my husband we HAD to buy something to justify it so I found two beautiful beaded ornaments that were $10.00 a piece but the man sold them both to us for $18. (I think he was taking pity on the sweaty lady with the cane, it was so HOT that day here in Ohio, even in the air!) I think this show may move about the country so if you happen to see that it will be in your area I would recommend it!!
That sounds like a lot of fun!!! Neat that they had different holidays! Hope you enjoy your beaded ornaments for many years to come!! :)

Thanks for sharing that! It’s a nice summery evening here, and the only thing missing is fireflies.

We were out shopping to stock our new fridge. We lost most everything when the old one failed last week. The new one was installed today. I’m loving having an ice/water dispenser and an ice maker! And really appreciating having cold storage again!
Awesome that your new fridge is up & running!! Enjoy the ice & water dispenser!

Happy June MMC! I don't know how the heck it's June but it is! And it's Friday which is just as important. I say this sometimes but a 4 day work week makes me realize how crazy long a 5 day work week is cause 4 seems pretty long itself! Just going to the mall Saturday and smile at the fact we're more than Halfway to the Christmas Season when it will feel so different there. Everyone enjoy their TGIF!
Happy June!! I was thinking too how next week is going to seem like an extra long work week!! We'll get through it! ;) Have a good day Edge!

Well after all of that, the cardiologist said she thinks it’s just acid reflux causing spams giving Mom the pain. A few things popped up on the stress test (a bit of a leaky valve and some thickening of the heart wall) but they are on the low end of stuff to worry about. The heart is still functioning within normal range. So she gave Mom a reflux med to try for a month to see if that helps.
Hope the meds work for your mom!!

Happy Friday and June 1st...have a great weekend!

Happy Friday, everyone!

On my way to work in the morning I pass a house where, at the end of the driveway, they've placed two lawn chairs. In each chair sits a jumbo teddy bear, and together they look for all the world like two old chums enjoying the weather and having a little chat. That sight always makes me smile when I go by!

This is my first aloha-shirt Friday of the season. During the summer I like to wear a Hawaiian shirt to work on Friday. Makes me look forward to the weekend, and maybe it gives somebody else a smile.

I hope Henry does good at the lemonade stand again today! :) Have fun at the wedding!! Happy June!

Good Morning, Friendly Friday Folks.

And can it really be Weekend Eve again so soon?
Unbelievable.

This is kind of unbelievable, too:
Days to the Season: 165
Days to Christmas Day: 207

And even more unbelievable than that is the fact that we are now only ONE WEEK away from the 200-Day Christmas Day Milestone marker and the start of a double-100's level count.
Want more?
How about this for unbelivability: It's already the first day of June!
Why, that's almost summer, Folks. And the very next season is when Christmas Season 2018 begins.
(This is scary, Guys. Downright scary!)

At last! We had a rain-free day yesterday. And the chances of more precipitation have been reduced by the weather service.
(And just in time. I was beginning to think we might just float away!)
Our current temperature is 74 degrees, and it's so nice to have a cloudless sky!

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a great start to the first weekend in June, this afternoon!

Glad to hear you survived! ;) Hope they have fun today!! Have a great 1st day of June!

The chairs/teddy bears sound really cute! What a fun idea! Have a great day Merry!

Downright scary is right!
Glad to hear you are getting a break from the rain. We can't seem to buy it here! It got so black in the sky late afternoon yesterday, then it pretty much blew right over. We got maybe 1/10".
Have a great weekend crown!

Aloha!

Mahalo! Yes, I think it's great that they go to the trouble to set that up. They even take the bears and chairs in when it's rainy, or cover them with a tarp if showers are expected overnight. Wish I knew the story behind it!

Happy June, Happy Friday, Happy Weekend.
My daughters back from Uni, her first year has flown by. This weekend also represents the end of the football season with the final match for Jake tomorrow giving me my Saturday mornings back :)
Just ordered a few bits for my xmas box as we are 6 months in its time for me to start preparing - exciting!
Have a great day

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's going to be in the mid-90's for a while around here, but I think the rain I supposed to ease up. I hear the pool calling!

Date night tonight!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

I was wondering how they faired in the weather! There has to be a story!
