Good Morning Halloween Friends! And first thing is first, Happy Birthday Mr. Potter!

Today is the beginning of the Harry Potter Birthday Marathon on SYFY. And it runs into tomorrow, too. A Harry Potter Marathon that organically happened on the same weekend as Jack O Lantern Day? Works for me!

There will be Halloween feels a plenty this weekend, and get ready for "Feels Overload" when we wake up on Sunday morning and realize only 30 days seperate us from our beloved Bers!

My niece and I share a Cricut crafting machine and I have it for the next few weeks... my first project was to make a Welcome Great Pumpkin sign to go along with my Linus and Lucy cutout. I don't want to put it away, but think I will until October 1st. It will see limited outdoor time (like the cardboard cutout), but I am happy with how it turned out. View attachment 84143

Happy JOL Day #4, Folks! It feels like the gorgeous BERS outside, being only 63 degrees and we have that famous gloomy sky that always seems to be around lots in October!

I want to get my chores done this morning as soon as possible, because I want to be done by late afternoon so I can finish the rest of the Harry Potter marathon on Syfy, and then later tonight settle in for my movie selection, which will be "Goosebumps" and "Scary Stories to tell in the dark"!

Happy Jack O' Lantern Day. It is a Saturday, a Harry Potter Marathon, and QVC Christmas in July's final day- it is a pretty exciting day- and best yet- the temp will only reach mid 60s! I would leave today 5 Stars if I could.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is the post-Jack O Lantern Day edition of the Halloween Countdown.

As other posters have indicated - yesterday was a 5 star day. Indeed we had it all here, low humidity, low temperatures, A Harry Potter Marathon, Apple Cider, and finished the evening off with two great movies!

But don't miss Jack O Lantern Day too much, because August will see our FINAL JOL Day of 2021. And in my opinion, this one may be the most special, because it literally ends as the Bers begin. Lots of tradition on this one, like the Halloween tree lighting up at midnight to commemorate The Bers being back!

One giant bummer for us this year: Yesterday I discovered that Spirit Halloween is bypassing our town for 2021. The closest location to us now is 64 miles away. What a letdown.
