Halloween 2021 Countdown!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! One day closer to the weekend now! I'm feeding off that energy. And it's a big weekend for us, as we are decorating the rest of everything here for fall.

And I have a new decoration to take with me to the office, and that's this snazzy Jason mug that my wife picked up for me yesterday:

I'll have to decide if I'm only going to use him during "fall season", or will he stay on my desk year round. I'm leaning to year round, since I keep a small Christmas display up on my shelf all year.

Look at those counts this morning! We're just a few days away now from hitting SINGLE DIGITS in the countdown to the final JOL Day of 2021, and The Bers! Have a great day!

TGIF, Halloween Friends! Today is finally Friday! Big weekend here for sure as we will be decorating the house and grounds for fall! I already am imagining getting "The Feels" when I see the pumpkins sitting out in the mulch beds!

My pumpkins are starting to lose their green and are starting to turn, but my vines and leaves really took a hard hit last week during the straight line winds and I don't think they are going to bounce back. I pass two very sincere pumpkin patches on my way to and from work and they still have big, beautiful green leaves, but I am grateful for what I have. I hope you all have a great Friday!

P. S. I have put 6 of the 7 pumpkins in a smaller container with potting soil underneath them trying to preserve their skin, the 7th one is hanging on behind its pallet.

Yes, we do in fact. It's more than just the choice of movies. I'm going to have a special little write up about it when we get to 7 days out from it. It should be an exciting time!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It is now the weekend, which is something that we all long for, but this weekend is special. This is the weekend where we finally put out all of our outside Fall Decorations, and decorate inside as well. And I've said it many times, but another reason why I like August so much and consider it "Fall Preseason", is because it means that our house will be in some sort of decoration for the next 5 1/2 months!

Kind of hard to put coherent thoughts together, I am absolutely being overwhelmed with BERS emotion right now. I am ready for the Blast off tomorrow. Can't wait.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is the day I have been waiting for, for the longest time. And that is the day that we chose to put out the rest of our Fall decorations. Back on August 1st, I only put out two measly decorations. My wooden pumpkin wreath that hangs on the front door, and my "Hello Fall" garden flag. At the time, it was so exciting just to hang up those two things, since I've always felt like August was "Fall Preseason"!

I figured that would do it, and "get me through" until The Bers were back and I could put up the rest of the good stuff. But something amazing happened over the course of this month, and I think some of you guys felt it too. Fall, and The Bers, started exerting a very strong pull on me! I think the 2nd week of the month I had succumbed to the urge of putting up my decorations early. We had never decorated for Fall this early before. And it feels AWESOME knowing that today is finally the day. It almost feels like it could be September 1st. But one thing is for sure, I'm ready for the Bers blast off, this place will be decorated for Fall and ready and waiting for when The Bers come home next week. Have a great day!
