Good Morning Halloween Friends! I'm doing the red-eyed shift this morning. How about that game last night? What a crazy series of events.

We're marching ever so close to Halloween now, folks. Still hard to wrap my head around the fact that later this week, on Friday to be precise, we will be exactly TWO WEEKS from October!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Like Edge mentioned, we are now in the second half of September. Unreal how fast it has went by. I'm hoping the rest of the month settles down some, because I don't want October to come and fly by. Even though it will be nice being in Christmas season, and the "bonus months", it will still be a long haul back to our favorite time of year.

Back to cool weather today, a high of only 73! Last night we had some bad Thunderstorms, and it rained buckets. As soon as it gets lighter outside, i'm going to walk around and make sure our house didn't suffer any damage, but I think we are OK.

As I have shared (probably too much) I have been trying to grow pumpkins in containers for my Great Pumpkin Hunt. I ended up having 7 pumpkins and have enjoyed the process immensely. I went to my niece's house and saw the pumpkins her Father-in-law grew... I am feeling a little inadequate! LOL! And then today I found the cutest doormat that I hope my great-niece and great-nephew will give to him, maybe at the Great Pumpkin Hunt! The wide view is a picture of my pumpkins, the other one shows my competition and the last the doormat!

As I feared, September is flying by. We have to make the most of every day now, and as we should be doing all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing what is on TV tonight on Shudder, as I settle into the wonderful Sweet Spot weekend routine. Camped on the couch in front of the TV is indeed the Sweet Spot.

I love these little specialty waffle makers. We bought one during the summer that makes the waffles in a honeycomb shape. Looks like I'm buying another.

It is flying by but every day feels like a gift, almost like an Advent Calendar. Everything I do gets us closer to October and to Halloween, I hope October slows down a bit, but I am looking forward to all 31 days!
