I haven't tried Silent Hill, other than the movie that's based on the game (which I kinda like). It's worth trying, huh?I am not tired of anything Halloween related yet! I wish we could extend October another 2-3 weeks.
Last night I started thinking about how I haven't played the Silent Hill games in such a long time, and this month would be a perfect time to do so. I envy @Bradmac and his PS4 where he has easy access to the Silent Hill collection. I thought about going somewhere like GameXchange and picking up a cheap PS3, but I couldn't justify it only to play maybe just two games for the next three weeks. I think I'll just watch all of the cutscenes on YouTube, lol.
Do yourself a favor and start with Silent Hill 2. It's hands-down the best entry in the series, and you don't have to have any knowledge of the first game to understand the story. It's probably out on the Playstation store for around 10 bucks. It's the perfect game for Halloween.I haven't tried Silent Hill, other than the movie that's based on the game (which I kinda like). That's disappointing. I didn't expect it to reach the bar set by "A Muppets Christmas Carol," but I was hoping for a new Halloween classic. We just got done watching Muppets Haunted Mansion. It was just OK. Not your typical Muppets movie.
The movie is all about Gonzo facing his fears and overcoming them. I give it two thumbs down as a classic. That's disappointing. I didn't expect it to reach the bar set by "A Muppets Christmas Carol," but I was hoping for a new Halloween classic.
I'll probably still give it a watch, but I'll temper my expectations accordingly. Sadly it seems like Disney's influence over their acquired properties is more bad than good, except for possibly Marvel. The movie is all about Gonzo facing his fears and overcoming them. Ever since playing the games - ANY TIME that it is really foggy around here like you can't see in front of your face, I ALWAYS think of Silent Hill.Do yourself a favor and start with Silent Hill 2. "Garfield's Halloween" is one of my favorites. I have watched it so many times I can pretty much recite the dialogue. LOL.I watch Garfield's Halloween special last night. Tonight I think I am going to go with Hocus Pocus. It is a rainy Friday night in October, how much better can it get to stay in and watch a movie?
I am looking forward to watching it.The movie is all about Gonzo facing his fears and overcoming them. I give it two thumbs down as a classic.
