Good Morning Halloween Friends! We passed our last remaining milestone day yesterday, and there are no more stops on the way to October and Halloween.

We have one thing left to do, not a milestone day, per say - but that is ringing in the "official" start of "Spooky Season", which arrives on FRIDAY

I think just about anywhere you are now, there are signs of Halloween & Fall all around you. And it is a wonderful time. I was at my mother's yesterday and her mums have bloomed. Sadly, we didn't put out any mums this year, my ones that I have had for many years did not come back this year. But there's always next year!

Enjoy this Monday, and keep Halloween thoughts in your head. There's not a single day we have this week that is higher than 80. This evening begins the return of overnight lows down in the low 50's. We have not had that since one week in the middle of August. Try and get out and enjoy the "Fall Atmosphere".

Have a great day!

Morning Halloween Fans! Well we loaded up our plans for The Season: Apple Picking, Jack O' Lantern Blaze, Haunted Hayride, Haunted Houses, and more. Think I'm ready. Have a great day!
It all sounds like so much fun. Unfortunately with my son's football activities I will be limited on fall activities.

We are going to a big Halloween festival on Halloween weekend in West Virginia. That will be the highlight of my season. We are planning on doing more holiday trips (Halloween and Christmas) in the upcoming years. This will be our first.

I techically kick off my "Spooky Season" this week but I am looking forward to the official kick off in here Friday. And techically I will have a third kickoff on October 1st which I think is the Halloween kickoff for the average person that joins us die hards. The more kickoffs the better!

I have had the same mums in my yard since I moved into this house and some years they bloom brilliantly and some years it seems like they want to take a rest.

My church just advertised their Trunk or Treat. I think I'll participate this year. I love seeing the little kids and big kids all dressed up. Our church goes all in. They have food vendors, rides, a petting zoo and lots of games.

My metal Peanuts Jack-o-lanterns need D batteries so I will pick some up and will kick of my Spooky Season off on Friday night by lighting them!

The weather is a perfect fall day here. It would have only been more perfect if it would have fell next week with the official start of autumn.

I remember having a the exact same day and feel during "Spooky Spring". Hopefully this is the beginning of many.

I am watching my first Halloweenish program today so I will call this my unofficial start to "Spooky Season". I will save the official start for Friday with you all.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We are getting closer and closer to the "official" start of Spooky Season. Just two days away now. What a way to ring in a Friday.

Folks, we had gorgeous October-like weather yesterday. Even my Dad commented that it felt like October, and he isn't a holiday guy in any way. We've got 54 degrees outside right now and it just feels amazing. Tomorrow night the overnight low gets to only 50 degrees. I am going to try a fire in our fire pit because evening temps in the 50's will be downright wonderful sitting next to a fire.

Have a great day, friends. Keep those Halloween thoughts in your head. It should be easy now!

Only 17 days until we decorate for Halloween. I can't wait! I bought a new outdoor inflatable to go with the pumpkin. It's only 4.5 feet tall. The little kids across the street should enjoy it.
