Good Morning Halloween Friends, and Happy Monday! Easter is in the rear-view mirror now, and Spooky Spring returns. It was a great Easter, and I had very strong Thanksgiving vibes, which came from everyone sitting around the table together.

Today's weather is supposed to be absolutely freezing. It's calling for snow beginning at about 8 AM, and we may receive a dusting with as cold as it is. Tomorrow night gets to freezing, and then insanely, it goes back up into the upper 70's and 80's to finish out the week.

Aside from Shudder, I do not think any of the other TV networks are doing a halfway to Halloween film marathon. It was awesome when they did it last year, and I was hoping that it would be the new "thing". We can dream. My Stephen King movie marathon to ring in Halfoween starts on Sunday!

Have a great day, friends! Spooky Spring marches on!

I think you're right. I haven't seen any new "Halfway to Halloween" news yet this year. You'd think there would be at least a few more marathons and/or announcements.

Some are just late to the game, though. Last year Disney didn't make their "Halfway to Halloween" announcements until May 7th.

I snapped this picture on Saturday night. With the weather, this gave me LOADS of Halloween feels. April will forever be known as “spooky spring”, the mirror image of October.881796A4-3903-4CC0-8D76-12ED978F05A1.jpeg

As if we needed more evidence that this is in fact Spooky Spring, I was at the grocery store tonight and saw two very odd sights for April:

1. A party-sized tray of pumpkin rolls

2. Heinz ketchup in a bottle that said "Tomato Blood"

I neglected to snap pictures of either of these two things, mainly because I was looking for coffee and wasn't thinking straight at the time, but also because I figured, "It's MMC -- they'll know what I'm talking about." However, should you want photographic evidence, I have another trip planned for Wednesday.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is a big day in the Christmas Thread - the all mighty 250 days to Christmas. I want to touch on that for just a moment because it's incredible when you think that Christmas is at almost the end of the year, and yet here we are a mere 50 days from entering into a 100's count on that one.

Our own counts are looking a little skinny this morning. Just 11 days now from being halfway to Halloween. 6 days away from seeing both The Bers count drop out of the 130's, and Days to October enter into the 150's, respectively.

Spooky Spring is hopefully back today. Even though I watched a scary movie yesterday, it was hard to not have overwhelming Christmas feels with the snowy weather. Today gets to about 50 so it will hopefully remind me of one of the later Bers days, maybe late October or very early November.

@The_Escalation, I would have gotten so overjoyed had I seen "Tomato Blood" on the shelves. That was a favorite thing of mine to see during "Halloween Season".

Have a great day!

Tomato Blood. I love it! But I would check the date on the bottle before purchasing.

The spooky spring vibe is strong in my neck of the woods, as far as temperature goes. Cloudy, like really overcast, windy and because of that wind, even though it is 60 degrees, it feels like late October. Lovin' it.

Morning Halloween Fans! It's a chilly morning here. But not as chilly as its been. I'm glad we're in April and not October. Haven't I said that before? I'm just happy it's well ahead of us. Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! The mid-week point to another Spooky Spring week. Today we are only 10 DAYS from being halfway to Halloween. By the weekend we will only be a week out. My Stephen King movie marathon begins on Sunday, watching one an evening, to ring in Halfoween!

Today will feel much more like our wonderful October days that we long for. Mid 60's, and sunny. The next 5 days are supposed to be close to 80!

Have a great day, keep Halloween thoughts in your heart!

I guess it is time to plan my menu for Halfoween and make sure I have everything I need. I think my pumpkin waffle maker will be making its debut, but I can't decide if the first time needs to regular pancakes, or if I take a risk and try a recipe for pumpkin waffles.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's exciting today to be almost at the beginning of another "Spooky Spring Weekend", but even more exciting is seeing that Halfoween count now down into SINGLE DIGITS. We will start off the new week with The Bers count breaking down into the 120's, and the Days to October entering into the 150's. Very serious territory now for both, and It will be here soon!

Today may be the last "Bers Like" day for a while, the next five or 6 days creep up into the 80's. Might be a sweat fest, but hopefully not as the humidity here doesn't start getting bad until about mid - late June.

Have a great Thursday! Keep some Halloween thoughts in your head!

Mine is making it's debut too along with the skeleton head one. I am going to just make regular waffles.
