I always felt like July 4th was really the last "barrier" if you could even call it that, to Fall and Halloween stuff arriving everywhere late summer....

Not yet. And it looks like the trip to At Home will be tomorrow now.

DAYS TO THE BERS: 64
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON: 81
DAYS TO OCTOBER: 94
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 124
Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Thursday! I think today is going to be full of weekend vibes. Thursday and Friday they are obviously at fever pitch. And of course it's July 4th weekend coming up.
But today is all about previewing July, which is now stating us in the face! Folks, obviously the big event coming right at the beginning of the month is July 4th. While it is right in the heart of summer, I have always viewed it as the “last” thing that stands in our way, kind of the last “barrier” to Fall Preseason!
We will also see our Bers count at long last break into the 50’s, as well as see our last triple digit count go away, and that’s the “days to Halloween”! But the biggest thing happening In July IMO, and I can’t stress this enough, is Edge’s fantastic 50 day preview to The Bers! And it’s coming up soon.
We will end July with the last JOL Day in our Fall “offseason”, as Fall Preseason begins August 1st!

Oh, I am so thinking Halloween thoughts right now. Especially after seeing a lot of peoples' Code Orange finds on Instagram. I went to Walmart last night and didn't expect to see anything, but I walked past a fake flower display that had corncobs and orange and black flowers. That counts, right? It looked extremely Fall-ish to me.

Morning Halloween friends
I have the week off from football practice for July 4th, so I get some nice relaxing time the next several days. I am planning on doing some holiday decorating planning with my free time. Last year my wife made a nice drawing of the outside of the house so we could plan our Christmas decorations. However, this year I am going to use that drawing to plan the Halloween decorations. I want to use more lights than I have in the past and keep extending out Beetlejuice theme.

@DecemberisComing is coming commented in another thread that 4th of July night has a kind of Halloween feeling to it. And I am getting Halloween vibes looking from the 4th of July lights, even though the colors are wrong.

Our days to Halloween Season count breaks into the 70's beginning tomorrow, but the big change will be later next week when our Days to The Bers finally get into a 50's count. The final fifty is almost here. And you know what happens then. The biggest thing on this site besides the main Christmas countdown happens, and that's the outstanding 50 DAY PREVIEW OF THE BERS.
I didn't get to have a Dark Arts Sunday last weekend because it was Leon Day, so tonight, I will be watching "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" !

Happy JOL Day! As I was making my grocery list last night, I noticed our local HEB now has pumpkin spice scented Glade Plug-Ins! Those went on the list.

Happy JOL Day! We finally got some much needed rain and dodged the bad storms but the humidity is still hanging around so I may have to skip my Halloween pjs, but I think a Harry Potter movie will be perfect for tonight!
