Halloween 2023 Countdown!

Spooky Season officially starts tomorrow! I really love what I call the the 3 steps of spooky Season. First is my start of early Spooky Season which starts after Labor Day. The second is the official start of the season in here tomorrow. And the final is October 1st which is when everyone else joins us in the celebration of Halloween. Each step is an added Halloween boost for me.

Evening Halloween Fans! It's been a restful weekend. Everyone around me has been sick but not terrible and everyone seems to already be improving quickly. I know colds and stuff have been going around lately. Better to be sick now than October. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Welcome to Spooky Season!

You can see on the counts above that we have lost another count. We're down to three now, and we started with seven, I believe.

It's not even two weeks left until the final JOL Day of 2023. Somewhere in being overjoyed that we were back home in The Bers, September started going FAST. Every year I try and slow it down, and it still races away. I'm glad that we still have some September left, but better yet, all of the rest of The Bers.

I'm so glad that Spooky Season has begun, thank you all for being here with me and your contributions every day. The best part hasn't even happened yet! Have a wonderful Monday!

Spooky Season is officially here! Although I have started my celebrating already there is nothing like officially starting it though. I think I will try to add my Halloween decorations this coming weekend. Sometimes I put them up this coming weekend or sometimes we wait until the closest weekend to October. I am impatient this year so they are going up this coming weekend with the official start of autumn. Lol

We bought another pumpkin and some cornstocks this weekend to finish the porch fall and soon to be Halloween decorations. We also went to a covered bridge festival this weekend and picked up a pumpkin candle too.

Almost forgot......we got some candy corn pumpkins too!

I am so sorry that I was not here this weekend for the countdown to Spooky Season! I would have been prepared with some memes, but life got in the way. Well, specifically, home projects got in the way. I am just happy to be here for the official start of Spooky Season today! I can finally fire up my Halloween playlist at work!

My Halloween decorations are going up this coming Thursday. I have to be home anyway for delivery of my new freezer so I am going to get up as much as I can. I cannot wait. I guess it is pretty pathetic when putting up Halloween decorations gets you excited. Oh, well, I am who I am!

Evening Halloween Fans! A rainy Monday here. Felt spooky kind of but not in a great Halloween way. Who likes a rainy Monday? At least it looks like we'll have sun the rest of the week here. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's the "lonely countdown" edition of our daily countdown today. We have three countdowns left but they look so skinny! Within two weeks we will be losing two more countdowns, it seems unbelievable.

I am absolutely LOVING this cool weather we are having and the borderline chilly overnights. Tonight we will see lows in the 40's. On this day in 2020, I sealed my driveway myself, it has been a few years and I am assembling supplies and hoping to do it again at the end of this month or early October. I need a weekend where there is no rain for at least 24 hours and it gets warmer than 55 degrees.

My new office is starting to decorate now for Halloween / Fall. I told them they are behind lol. It's just exciting though to see Halloween everywhere. I say it all the time but I really love this time of the year we are in.

A house in our neighborhood finally put up their Halloween lights yesterday! I literally shouted with joy upon seeing them last night. It is the first house in our neighborhood to do so. I hope the others follow suit soon. I'll try to snap a picture tonight if I can remember.

Not pathetic at all, I am planning on putting my village up this weekend, and have already been sneaking up a few things every few days. What a great way to make spending time waiting for a delivery a fun experience! Also, did I miss something, was the freezer broken, I thought it got left open? Not that brings back the food you lost, but might make it less of a "if" situation.

Evening Halloween Fans! It's good to be back to work today. I felt much better. And the sun was out. A nice day with temps into the low to mid 70s. Pretty much perfect September Weather. Happy Halloween!

Not pathetic at all, I am planning on putting my village up this weekend, and have already been sneaking up a few things every few days. What a great way to make spending time waiting for a delivery a fun experience! Also, did I miss something, was the freezer broken, I thought it got left open? Not that brings back the food you lost, but might make it less of a "if" situation.

It was left open and I lost a ton of food. But I had been babying it along for about six months waiting for a good deal. With the thing half empty, I decided it was time to stop babying it along with the bungee cords to keep the shelves up and get a new one while there was not so much food to deal with.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! You can see from the counts above that tomorrow we will break into a single digit count on our way to the very last JOL Day of 2023. On Friday we will hit single digits to October. At that point, those two counts are not long for this world. I love September and don't want it to end, but at the same time I am overjoyed at thinking that October is just so close. I'm pretty nostalgic about October, my wife and I started dating in October of 2007, and my daughter was born in October of last year. I can't believe she will be a year old in just a few weeks!
