DAYS TO JOL DAY: 10
DAYS TO OCTOBER: 11
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 41

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! You can see from the counts above that tomorrow we will break into a single digit count on our way to the very last JOL Day of 2023. On Friday we will hit single digits to October. At that point, those two counts are not long for this world. I love September and don't want it to end, but at the same time I am overjoyed at thinking that October is just so close. I'm pretty nostalgic about October, my wife and I started dating in October of 2007, and my daughter was born in October of last year. I can't believe she will be a year old in just a few weeks!

Have a wonderful day, friends! Think those October / Spooky / Halloween thoughts!
Wow. Can she really be turning a year. What a blessed year for you!

It was left open and I lost a ton of food. But I had been babying it along for about six months waiting for a good deal. With the thing half empty, I decided it was time to stop babying it along with the bungee cords to keep the shelves up and get a new one while there was not so much food to deal with.
I think you are making a very wise decision. I hope you bought one that you will love!

When my chest freezer in the basement goes I am thinking about getting a (smaller) upright freezer and putting it on my main floor. My basement steps are not great and the basement is OLD, not quite Silence of the Lambs, but closer to that then the new finished basements that are so common now.

Evening Halloween Fans! A rainy Monday here. Felt spooky kind of but not in a great Halloween way. Who likes a rainy Monday? At least it looks like we'll have sun the rest of the week here. Happy Halloween!
I don't mine a rainy Monday!

Evening Halloween Fans! Another nice day here and another to come or so they say. It's really going to be Autumn this coming weekend. Can you believe it? I'm going to put my shorts away tho ugh. Happy Halloween!
My shorts have been stowed away too, but I am wearing my white pants to work tomorrow.

I'm a rebel.

TGIT, friends! I love Thursdays. I love how in the early afternoon you start thinking about the weekend. Fridays are obviously just pure bliss, but Thursdays are pretty special as well.

You can see today, we have broken into single digits for JOL Day. It's the last one of the 2023 countdown season. We never had JOL Days in September before the new JOL days were "added" this year to compliment our other assortment of MMC special days. And I'm so glad that we did!

Tomorrow we hit the single digits on the way to October, can you believe it? I need the rest of September to slow down. This is how Edge feels when we are cutting the breaks on summer. But the truth is, I'm not ready for September to end.

Let's have a great day, the weekend is almost here!

Your numbers are looking very small my friend. It’s getting closer and closer.

Evening Halloween Fans! It's beautiful out again today. And we might get 1 more decent mild day out of it. And then they're saying maybe a washout chilly weekend. And next week looks nice but cooler than this week. Goodbye shorts. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Friday! And it's the last day of summer. So long summer! Smell you later! I can't wait for you to return next year bringing with you nearly 100% humidity, bugs, sweat, heat advisories, lol. Can you tell I'm happy to see it go? All of our seasons truly are special though, and my hope for "next summer" is that I figure out how to appreciate Summer just a little more. Maybe I can appreciate the fact that Summer is the season that leads us into Fall Pre-Season and The Bers. I'll start small lol.

We're now in single digits as well on Days to October, and you can see now that we have broken into a 30's count on Days to Halloween! Good Grief! We have a very rainy weekend coming up, so it will be a good one to enjoy warm drinks, apple cider, and some scary movies.

Have a great Friday, and let's all say goodbye to summer together! It will be back, don't worry! :)

I wish I could appreciate summer, I really do. I have tried. It just doesn't work for me. I guess I just have to accept that some people are built differently, and I was not built for summer...lol.

Also, you can't drive around your neighborhood during the summer and expect to see a giant 12-foot skeleton in someone's front yard, but that's a healthy expectation in the Fall!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy 1st day of actual Fall! You know me, I've been in fall mode ever since September 1st, and in "Fall Preseason" mode even before that. But whenever you choose to mentally / emotionally move on to the next season, one thing is for sure - Summer is in the rear view mirror now. We won't see it again until next year.

We're just ONE WEEK out from the very FINAL Jack O Lantern Day of the year. That just seems so unbelievable to me!

This weekend is supposed to be a wash-out here. And for once, I am glad. We had a horrible drought since August of this year. We went about six weeks with no rain. But about two weeks ago, the "normal" rains started returning, and our county lifted the drought emergency, and the restrictions. After we get all the rain we are supposed to this weekend, we will basically be back to "normal" here heading into the rest of the year.

Next weekend when I mow it will be like a jungle. The grass hasn't been that high and thick here since the very beginning of Spring!

Have a great day, friends, enjoy being in the first day of Autumn!
