Morning all!

Just sitting outside enjoying the sounds of nature this morning. I was hoping to get to Cracker Barrel the last couple of days, but I have not been able to get there. Tonight will not happen either. Perhaps I can convince the family to head there tomorrow for dinner. I am really anxious to see their Halloween items.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was a good day in terms of "Code Orange" sightings. Our local Costco now has out Halloween items, and I am seeing more things now in Walmart. There was a whole end cap yesterday of K-cup apple ciders, as well as the little packets of mulling spices for hot apple cider. Hit me right in the feels. Hot cider is something I enjoy, but I will not "break the seal" on that until Fall Pre-Season is here.

The big thing coming up this week is obviously the 50 DAY PREVIEW OF THE BERS over in The Bers Thread. You seriously don't want to miss it. We end this week in a 60's count on our Days to Halloween Season, and Friday morning begins being down in the 40's on the way back to The Bers. WOW.

Have a great day!

Morning Halloween Enthusiasts!

Normal Sunday morning with the exception that my wife went to a unicorn display; animatronic unicorns. But Henry and I still did breakfast and grocery shopping. No "Code Orange" sightings at Meijer yet. I looked, but saw nothing. They generally do not have anything out until August 1st, so I was not surprised.

The Bers are getting close... I can feel it.

I had a great Code Orange sighting today. The inflatables are out at the At Home Store.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! A new Monday is here! It's the beginning of another week that we will complete together as we continue our journey back towards Fall. The journey that we begin anew together, every Halloween night. I'm no math wiz like Edge, but I would estimate that we are around 75% of the way there.

July, so far has not been the slog that I have felt it might have been when I was in late June and figuring what the next month might be like. Exactly three weeks away now from JOL Day #6 that concludes with us standing on the doorstep to Fall Pre-Season. So many good things just up ahead! The first NFL pre-season game is just about 3 1/2 weeks away. The Jets will take on the Browns in the very first game. August might be hot, and it might technically still be "Summer" on the calendar, but folks, IMO when Football is on TV (Not re-runs), it's pretty much "Fall". I'm excited for the season more than ever because my Washington Football Team should hopefully have a new owner in less than two weeks!

Today is my 13 year wedding anniversary. My wife and I got together in 2007 and was married three years later, in 2010. I've been with her over a quarter of my years on this earth and I am so happy! So I think I am in just an extra happy, nostalgic mood this morning. Let's think those Halloween thoughts today and hopefully you catch some more "Code Orange" sightings in your travels today. Have a great day!

Successful bath and body works trip tonight. I came home with two fall scented wallflowers. Fall is springing up in there now. They have the fall candle lineup going out, and on July 14, there is a special Halloween shop preview. I will be there that day! I can’t wait to see what they have as the preview! And on the drive back home, there was a beautiful orange sunset. It’s like the universe is saying to me to hold on just a few more weeks! Have a wonderful night!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! There's excitement in the air today. And it's not because Monday is finally over. It's because the excitement is continuing to build towards the VERY BIG DAY that is coming our way Thursday. No one that follows this thread should need to be reminded of what it is.

We've broken into the 60's now on the count towards Halloween Season. Our count towards October will be in the 70's before the week is out.

So many feels last night when I was at Bath & Body works. Smelling all of the fall candles, even coming home with a few Fall wall-flowers, as I start my slow process of stocking back up. Plus there is a special sneak preview of Halloween for members on Friday. I'm going to be there!

My Tuesday Halloween thought this week goes back to the beautiful Orange sunset I saw last night driving home. I think the Sunsets during the Bers and especially in October are the most beautiful out of the entire year. Yesterday's sun had that classic orange "filter", that I day dream about so many times during the long off-season. It's 61 degrees outside right now, and thinking back to that sunset makes me positively get the jitters thinking of how close we really are now.

Have a great day friends!

Happy belated anniversary, my friend!

It seems like Code Orange is popping up everywhere now, and this is the earliest, I think, ever that I've seen it without really having to look for it. Even HomeGoods, who hasn't clearanced their 4th of July stuff yet, had some skeletons hanging up when we were in there last week. The only place I haven't seen any Code Orange yet and was surprised by it was JoAnn's. I thought they would have been wall-to-wall Halloween by now. Michael's easily beat them to the punch this year.

I haven't been to Michaels' in a few weeks now. It's time to go again now that July 4th is well and truly behind us. Can't ever see too much Halloween stuff too soon!

Evening Halloween Fans! Well another warm/hot day in the books. I guess it's all relative. Was at least in the mid-80s but didn't feel as humid. Maybe I'm just used to it like in January when it gets to 45 you feel like it's not cold anymore. Happy Halloween!

I went into Michael's and Home Goods this evening and saw lots of Code Orange (and Black).
