Halloween 2023 Countdown!

Excellent, I hope you see some fruit soon! We had some high winds and 1.5" of rain in a very short time yesterday. I lost a lot of blossoms and some of the leaves are looking pretty rough, but I am hoping they will bounce back.

Evening Halloween Fans! I'm off the next 9 days. It's my longest vacation of the year and I plan to really mentally get excited for The Bers all while enjoying the summer we still have ahead of us. Happy Halloween!

So this isn't specifically Halloween related, but you could say it's Halloween-adjacent, maybe?

Next year my family is taking a trip to Disney World for Christmas. Well, we were discussing how we really didn't care to hit all the parks -- there are really only two that we're interested in visiting while we're there. So we decided that we're going to incorporate a visit to Universal in our plans and visit the Harry Potter Wizarding World while we're there! Unfortunately, the Wizarding World is spread across two of Universal's parks in an attempt to squeeze as much money out of you as possible, so I don't know yet if we'll visit both. But I am glad that we'll get to check out at least part of it!

Gotta brag a little. Guess where I got to go? To the London train station and Platform 9 3/4. We tried but we couldn't get through it and go on the Hogwarts Express. But my brother and I enjoyed trying!

Good Morning Halloween Friends, TGIF! The big update on the counts this morning is obviously that we are now in the 50's on our way to Halloween Season. And later this weekend, on Sunday to be precise, we will at long last hit the 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone, which will be the last of our counts in the triple digits!

Nothing new in my area on Code Orange sightings. But I hope that my Lowe's will soon be getting their stuff out. I really want to get to Cracker Barrell as well. I keep saying we are going to go there, but we just haven't been able to make it.

Evening Halloween Fans! Well we had some showers today but the sun was out too. The weekend is supposed to be as nice as you could hope for this time of year. Not as hot, less humid and sunny. But next week? Don't ask...it goes right back to the sweatfest all week long. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday to you all. Looking at our counts this morning, you can see that tomorrow is the BIG DAY as far as milestones go. We are going to reach 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. Those counts are really going to look different next week. It has me pretty excited. We will see the "Days to the Bers" count finally get down in the 30's. We will also enter the "Final 50" on our Days to Halloween Season next Sunday.

Folks, it feels like Fall Pre-Season is beckoning to me now with its siren's song. Ever since watching the press conference from new Washington owner Josh Harris, I have excitement for the upcoming season that I haven't felt in many, many years. Football and Fall just go together like peas and carrots. And it's all coming our way soon.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Milestone day! Today marks being exactly only 100 days from Halloween, and also marks the very END of the last remaining triple digit count in this thread. We will not see triple digits again until we start the NEW 2024 Halloween Thread on Halloween night this year.

Our next milestone is just 7 days away when we reach 50 Days to Halloween Season, and you can see that tomorrow we begin our journey into the 30's on our DAYS TO THE BERS. Jack O Lantern Day #6 is a little over a week away, and this is always one of my favorite JOL Days as it leads us right into Fall Pre-Season!

I enjoyed the code orange sightings yesterday when I went to Walmart and Martins. There's candy there now at both with Fall leaves and Autumn themes. I think i'm probably two weeks away from "true" Halloween candy (Halloween themed bag, wrappers, etc...). What a wonderful moment it will be when it arrives!
