I am quite possibly the most spoiled mama on the planet. I had told my daughter that I thought the blow up talking jack-o-lanterns that are like the inside Jabberin' Jack are really cool. Guess what she gave me today? Yup. Can't wait to put it up. I AM feeling very spoiled.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Thursday now, almost the weekend!
Folks, I am not enjoying these "skinny" looking counts, and I think it is both amazing and terrifying that we see October next week.
Somehow September started going by fast, after a mostly slow start. I'm hoping somehow October can slow down, but I'm not holding my breath. We've had the most wonderful Autumn season so far. More good stuff is coming.
It has been raining off and on since Sunday. You wouldn't believe how tall and thick the grass is here. It's calling for more rain over the weekend both days, and then we finally clear up next week. When we get back to mowing, it is going to make a mess. I'll probably have to mow it twice, once to knock it down, and then again to spread out the clippings so they aren't clumpy.

Full blown Halloween season starts this weekend in my opinion. The weekend closest to October 1st seems to be the start for the average person.

The Bers-Time Effect has kicked in, unfortunately. September seems to have flown by faster than any other month this year, and it's all because we're enjoying ourselves here in the Bers. Someone pump the breaks, because I want October to last. There's 31 days of Spooky Season and I want to enjoy every last second.

My middle child, Austin, turned 30 today.
Nothing make a person feel old like having children over 30. Maybe. My mom said she didn't feel old until I turned 50 and since she had me when she was 17, she wasn't all that old at the time. Hope your son had a great day.
