Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's a new week, the very first full week of February! And today is tax day for us, I'm hoping we get a refund back, that would be nice.

We're supposed to hit 60 degrees today and all of this week is going to be nice and warm. If we truly get to 60 degrees, I wonder if it will feel like October? Or Maybe Spooky Spring? 60 is a little too chilly to be our "classic" Bers temperature that we like.

Our next milestone will be next Monday when we hit 50 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING. That will truly be exciting!

I hope you have some nice spring-like weather today. Enjoy it as long as you can because I think there will be one more snow that happens, then it will be done!

Man, I feel like I missed a whole week in this thread. And I missed the first JOL Day. Bummer. Hopefully this week is more forgiving as far as my work schedule goes. I want to be here when that Spooky Spring count reaches 50 days.

Evening Halloween Fans! A little earlier check in for me. It's a bright and nice day out there for February. Temps hanging near 40 degrees. After the cold weather we had in January 40 degrees isn't so bad. An the sun does feel warmer now than it did a month ago. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Finally mid-week now on this first full week of February. Double nickels on the Spooky Spring count. Tomorrow we will be only one week from reaching the 200 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone!

This afternoon is supposed to be the start of our ice storm. We might get as much as a half inch of ice by tomorrow morning! That's a lot of ice. Then next Tuesday night we are supposed to have another decent snow storm in the 6 inch range. I knew it was coming as we got closer to President's Day, we always get a snow around then. I honestly think that will be our "last blast" of winter.

I've enjoyed the past couple of days because they have had that October feel to them. It's hard to feel like October / Halloween when there's snow outside lol.

Evening Halloween Fans! Another nice day here but chilly. We have a winter weather advisory for tonight till early afternoon Thursday. I'm going to take advantage of WFH (which I literally never do) and sleep an extra half hour or hour tomorrow. Happy Halloween!

I have never tried anything Butter Beer flavored, if I get the chance I will try the Popcorn or the Fudge Stripes for me, and then pick up a couple others for my niece!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Mini Friday! We've got about half an inch of ice outside. We were lucky we never lost the power. Insanely enough, it warms up to 62 degrees today by lunch time! My office is on a 2 hour delay. We're watching another snow event that is going to hit next Monday night into Tuesday morning. Totals don't look to be huge - right now we are comfortably in the 3 to 5 inch range, and that will probably finalize at some point tonight / tomorrow.

You can see on the counts above that we are now just 4 days from the 50 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone. And now one week out from hitting 200 DAYS TO THE BERS. I'm already getting excited thinking about how that count will "feel" seeing it move into 100's territory.

TGIF! It's finally Friday and we can see another weekend appearing through the fog.

The dogs woke me up at about 2:45 to go outside, and I saw the most amazing "Halloween Moon" hanging low in the sky through the bare trees in the back yard. I couldn't take a picture with my phone, so I asked Bing to create it for me. This is pretty uncanny, in all honesty. The moon was not this large, but the color and brightness is spot on!



We're three weeks away from JOL Day #2. Our next milestone will be on Monday, when we hit the 50 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone. The 200 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone will be here next Thursday. That's two pretty big milestones happening in the same week.

Folks - I want to leave you with a Friday question. We talk about milestones all the time across all of our threads. Here in the Halloween countdown, what do you consider as some of the biggest milestones of the countdown season?
