Happy Mini Friday, guys! Today will kind of be like my Friday, since tomorrow I am only working in the morning. And it's a big milestone day. 200 Days to The Bers. The math says that it is a little more than 6.5 months until The Bers are back.

Thinking about it this way, sometimes it seems unbelievable that it might be that close. Six months till we are back in The Bers? And the halfway point? We always have the debate on here and it's a fun one. We have halfway to The Bers(observed) and then the actual "halfway point" if you start your calendar on January 1 of the new year.

Tomorrow our "Bers" count is going to enter into the 100's. And also tomorrow it will be only two weeks until JOL Day #2!

TGIF! At long last it's Friday of a 3 day weekend! We've got big stuff happening today. First, it's now TWO WEEKS until JOL Day #2. We're now in the 100's on our "Days to The Bers" count. And lastly, "Days to Halloween" has now broken into the 250's. Wow.

Another thing I noticed is that my "Days to Baby #2" count will be in double digits next week. Another big wow. Holly begins the 3rd trimester at the end of this month!

I hope everyone is doing great here on a Friday and are ready to enjoy the 3 day weekend if you get Monday off. I always look forward to those weekends.

The first seal has been broken on the Bers count! Last night I was thinking about how Monday is the last holiday where I get the day off until Memorial Day, which means that next time I get a day off of work, the Road to the Bers will be open!

You can see from our counts above this morning, that we are now UNDER two weeks to go until JOL Day #2! Tomorrow will mark being only ONE WEEK away from hitting the 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone! And on Tuesday of the new week, my "Days to Baby #2" count will hit 100 days!

We are over half way through the month now, and THE MONTH OF HOPE is waiting out there in the distance for us. Not too much longer!

Good morning!

I am looking forward to the upcoming JOL day. I have started a list of several movies to watch on JOL days this year. I am really going to try to watch the movies I did not get to watch during the actual Halloween season. This month is The Munsters (Rob Zombie version). I have yet to see it and I figure it is a good one for this time of year.

She's doing good! She really has no complaints. She has gestational diabetes again, just like with Abigale, but it is responding to diet and night-time insulin very well. She's looking forward to not having to worry about it once our son is here. She doesn't like pricking her fingers, or doing the night-time shot.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday! Day #2 of the three day weekend! You can see on our counts above that we are now just one week out from a major milestone, 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. I'll share a secret with you, that is one count I'm not trying to rush. And on Tuesday, my "Days to Baby #2" will hit 100 days. We have about 13 weeks from now and I'll be across the finish line.

On Friday, Spooky Spring enters into the 30's on the countdown! WOW. My work on planning my Spooky Spring continues at a nice and slow/easy pace. I'm really going to enjoy reaching "The Month of Hope" and just sitting back, relaxing, and waiting for Spooky Spring to get here. We will have the "Kickoff Weekend" Starting on the 29th, we'll have a Dark Arts Sunday on the 30th, and then JOL Day #3 on the 31st. The perfect lead into Spooky Spring.

But we've got some time till then. But that won't stop me from daydreaming about how much fun it will all be! Have a great day!
 
Evening Halloween Fans! We're heading out to an early dinner here this Sunday afternoon. And then home to just relax. I love Sundays as our group does something every Sunday (and of course during the fall you know what activities we do). Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #3 of the 3 day weekend. Yesterday was crazy windy. There's over 10,000 people without power in town. Some areas had 75 mile an hour wind, with isolated winds of near 100mph south of here. People on social media speculated that a derecho went through early yesterday afternoon. The damage is significant, there are trees down everywhere, power poles, buildings that have had pieces of the roofs and siding torn off. I have not been outside yet this morning to check for any damage because it has been too dark. I'm hoping that everything is okay, and maybe I just have more limbs and branches to clean up.

Looking at the counts, you can see now I'm standing on the doorstep to hitting 100 days to go on Baby #2. I mentioned yesterday that Holly has around 13 weeks to go. While all of us are doing well, we both want this to be over. Holly will start going to the doctor every two weeks when she gets to around 30/32 weeks, so we feel like it will go fast then. That will happen in April, so not terribly far from today.

I hope the Power crews restore power and that people can start putting their lives back together and that you don't find any damage.
