I drove around town yesterday to see if I could find where Spirit Halloween will be this year. No signs up yet. I guess it’s still a little too early. I’ll take another look after July 4th.

Their website says to check back mid-August. It seems to me we see banners go up earlier than that.
I checked last year’s thread. In my town they started hiring on June 11th and were open by August 8th, so the banners should be going up any day now.
Edit: Also, if you check their Careers page on their website, it’ll show you the location of where they’re opening this year. Ours is going to be in the same shopping center as last year, but just in a different vacant retail space.

Evening Halloween Fans! We have a "Sunday Group" which I have mentioned. It's basically 4-6 of us who do the fall activities and we turn it into an all year thing. We are going to the city today. But 2 weeks from today we have our annual "Fall Presentation" where my sister will come up with an outlined schedule of things we want to do on those Sundays during the Halloween Season. Happy Halloween!
Hello Halloween Friends!
Hard to believe that we are right here at the end of June. Tomorrow I will be all JOL day, and then spend the first week of July celebrating the 4th!
But after that I go all Christmas in July! July 12th is when our local Hallmark store does its midnight launch of Christmas ornaments. My wife and I will watch a couple of Christmas movies that evening and then go get ornaments.
After that, I will bounce heavily to Christmas music through the replay of Tracking Santa. But once August 1st hits.... oh the Halloween music ramps up! I start watching some "light" Halloween movies which increases through the month and then it is September!

We will break into the 50's on our count to The Bers, on Friday! And we are obviously now under two weeks to go until the amazing 50 DAY PREVIEW OF THE BERS begins. That's still a ways away but close enough to get some jitters when we think about it. Especially after we break into the 50's on the count, I feel like it will just be a build up and build up every day as far as excitement is concerned. I think it is the biggest event on this site outside of The Special Post series on the main Christmas Thread.

It is nice to see that Fall Preseason so close.
My wife and I have been talking about our tree we keep up all year. It is currently set up for the 4th of July, but in August we will switch it over to Halloween of course. The goal is to do a Beetlejuice tree. It should be easy since it is a white tree.

Happy Wednesday, folks! We are crawling along in our journey to the weekend. I use the word crawling because even for being the 2nd of July, I feel a distinct change in the "speed" of the days. Yesterday kind of dragged. Maybe its because I'm looking so forward to the 3 day weekend. We will see how today goes. I'm kind of not "ready" to already feel the dog days of summer, but I kind of have no control over that. All I can do is try and make the best of each day.
The big highlight on the countdown this morning is obviously seeing 30 days to FALL PRESEASON. That's ONE MONTH, folks. And we will end this week in style when we "finally" break into the 50's on THE BERS count. That's going to be huge. Have a great Wednesday, Folks!
