Good morning Halloween Fans!

We didn't get much of the rain we were expecting yesterday and it doesn't look like we will get any today either. It is a little cooler today, and rain is coming this weekend. Mid-next week looks to be VERY hot.

This middle section of July is full of anticipation for the coming of August. Staying busy with football helps keep the days moving along.

Next week I will really begin turning my attention to school preparation. That will certainly bring on the feeling of Fall.

Our next milestone will be in FIVE DAYS as we reach the very final 100 day milestone in this thread, 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN.

I can’t help but smile during this time of the year. Fall Preseason is two weeks away, more and more Halloween merch is showing up to the point where Code Orange is just commonplace now, football is almost back, candy corn is on shelves, pumpkin stuff is starting to appear…

So much joy. I also added a couple of new songs to my Spooky Season playlist for this year. I need to add some more, really.

Well, yesterday I had to stop by the grocery store to pick up a couple of things. So, as I walked by the coffee aisle, I decided to go ahead and pickup some Pumpkin Spice coffee. I could not stop myself. I have not made it yet, but it is here. We usually stock up on quite a bit of it so we can continue to drink it into November and December. It seems like our grocery store runs out of it by mid-October.

Happy Saturday, Pumpkin People! Off to take trash to the dump and then get home and clean up the house and wash and polish my antique tractor. I've done everything mechanical on it now and I am just ready to go to the show. Believe it or not it actually looks like it is calling for rain next weekend, but I am going to prepare just incase we are able to go. I will probably make a "final" decision sometime Wednesday / Thursday.

We will see the 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone this week, coming our way on WEDNESDAY. It is the very last time in this thread for 2025 that we will have a triple digit count.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday! When I went grocery shopping yesterday at Walmart, I noticed there were lots of more Halloween decorations placed out under the guise of "summerween". And I noticed just from seeing on facebook posts, etc., that other retailers are doing the same thing. I don't remember this happening last year, so it must be a new trend. I'll take it as just an example of a "Halloween Creep" going on!

We will see several counts flip into several digits THIS week - JOL Day # 6 hits single digits on Tuesday, and FALL PRESEASON will hit single digits on Wednesday! Also Wednesday will see our very final 100 Day milestone, 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. It will be the last time in this 2025 Thread that we have a triple digit count.

But maybe the biggest change on the calendar will be on Thursday when our BERS count enters the 30's! Can you just imagine THE BERS being only "30 something" days away?

Hello Halloween Fans! I'm going to the city to the dog museum. Yes, there is such a thing. No, I've never been there. We always try to find new stuff to do with the Sunday Group. City trips and Halloween Activities have become our favorites. Happy Halloween!

Good afternoon Halloween Friends!

I just discovered that a Horror Musuem has opened in Ohio. It is a couple of hours away from me, but not a bad drive. It just opened a week ago or so. We are trying to plan a trip there for August.

I forgot to mention that we stopped by Lowe's today and that had the first bit of Halloween stuff out. It was just a skeleton DJ set that has bluetooth. So you can hook up your own spooky or Halloween playlist and he moves and with the music. You can also buy a small ghost and skeleton that "dances" with whatever music is playing.

This kind of makes me sad because Jo-Ann was a place that Holly and I would visit lots with all of the crafting she does. And you're right, the body isn't even cold yet!

It's Monday again, Pumpkin People! I have a short week because I have a 3 day weekend - going to try and make the tractor show on Friday if it doesn't rain out. Having to work only 4 days MIGHT make the week drag for me, I hope not, but you never know when it makes time go fast or slow.

We'll see big changes this week on our counts. JOL Day #6 count gets in single digits tomorrow, and on Wednesday our Fall Preseason count hits single digits! Also Wednesday we will see the very last triple digit count in this thread, that being 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. We won't have triple digit counts again until the new 2026 Halloween thread goes up on Halloween night.

Also, it isn't a milestone day coming up, but it can't be just me that's excited to see when THE BERS count gets in the 30's this week!!

This kind of makes me sad because Jo-Ann was a place that Holly and I would visit lots with all of the crafting she does. And you're right, the body isn't even cold yet!

The one net positive is that Michael’s picked up all of Joann’s private labels and IP, so it’s kind of like the soul of Joann will live on inside of Michael’s. Sort of an “Exorcist” type situation.
