Halloween 2025 Countdown!

What I like most about this picture is that they appear to be experiencing a very comfortable lack of humidity.
Evening Halloween Fans! I hope your weekend is going well. We had a fun time at brunch today and we talked Fall/Halloween Season with the Sunday Group. The plans are in motion. Dates are being picked for activities. And tickets are about to be ordered. Happy Halloween!

It's Monday again, Pumpkin People! Where did the weekend go? It's back out in front of us again, which means today starts the crawl back. And crazily enough, we will see the HALF WAY point of July later this week. Tomorrow at noon, I believe. That means the horrible hot summer starts slowly winding down as FALL PRESEASON approaches. The humidity this year has been brutal, maybe it just seems worse the older I get, but we are really at the "oppressive/miserable" stage now on the weather graph.
You can see we are just about leveled out on the high temps and are approaching peak hottest time here over the next few days. Watch that wonderful slide start as we enter August. Looking at that curve in mid-August going into September looks heavenly. And all of that happens within a month. I just have to knuckle down and stay focused on the goal - enjoying the preview of The Bers, and emerging into FALL PRESEASON here in about two weeks!

I saw Starbucks pumpkin spice creamer at the grocery store. Seems a little early, but I love seeing it! I guess it has well and truly “started” !!

I wish I had seen this sooner. I drove past CVS on my way home this evening. Maybe I can get there tomorrow. Eating Candy Corn while reading the 50-Day Preview of The Bers would be perfect.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is in the rear view mirror, and today we will reach the HALF WAY point of July. That's a serious accomplishment! The bigger implication is that obviously FALL PRESEASON is here in just over two weeks.
Seeing posts everywhere now about Halloween candy beginning to show up at places like CVS. And of course Walmart has "summerween" decorations. All signs that we are getting closer and closer to "our time". Is it just me, or does it seem like the pumpkin spice stuff came out a little "early" this season? NOT that I'm complaining, it's just that the things I am finding in the store now are usually things I don't see until about the middle of August. We had a discussion about this a month or so back, IIRC, we called it the "Halloween Creep".

Happy Wednesday, Pumpkin People! Finally at the mid-week point and now over the HALF WAY point in the month! Sometime later this afternoon we will see the weekend start to pop its head through the clouds. I love the feeling on Wednesday afternoons and especially Thursday with that whole vibe being "tomorrow's Friday".
And Friday will sort of feel like a milestone day because it will be only TWO WEEKS until Fall Pre-Season. That's a big deal.
You can see on our counts above that our next milestone will be in 7 days when we reach the final 100 day milestone in this 2025 thread, the 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. Take in the sights and sounds on this one, it is the very final time we will have a triple digit count until we post the 2026 Halloween Thread on Halloween Night. Late that night, everything starts over and we will have full triple-digit counts for quite some time. But that's a "problem" to have on a different day.

It's Mini Friday, Pumpkin People!! We had terrible rain storms last night. And I'm glad it is over. It was one of the worst storms I have ever witnessed. I texted my parents to make sure they were okay and nobody had a flooded basement or anything. I know with the terrible flooding that happened in Texas, this is nothing compared to that, but we just don't get storms like this here all that often.
No real movement in the counts this morning. We are still in the "dog days" of Summer I feel like for the next two weeks. Two weeks from today will be JOL Day #6, which will usher us right into FALL PRE-SEASON.
I can't be the only one excited to see that Bers count break into the 30's next week, am I?

Walmart has candy corn now too. It’s really, truly happening, folks. I feel like now I just need to see the Spirit Halloween sign and order a pumpkin spice latte, and Halloween season will be upon us.
