Happy Spooky Season, everyone! I cheated a bit last night and watched a Halloween Mickey Mouse cartoon on Disney Plus. I just needed the serotonin. Now I'm ready to go full-on Halloween, which means I get to listen to my Spooky Season playlist now!
I'm jealous!
Not many more Halloween displays on my drive this morning but BOY! the mums and pumpkins were everywhere!

The first FULL day of Spooky Season 2025 is now upon us.
We are waiting for the rains to move in, it's supposed to be rainy all this week. These cool nights are going to almost feel like "October weather", as some of our evenings get down into the 50's. Perfect time for "Halloween Grazing".

The last JOL Day this year. It's kind of bittersweet. I don't want to start thinking too far ahead yet, so I won't, and I'm just going to enjoy these next six days as they come. Since it's officially Spooky Season now and this is the last JOL Day we're talking about...maybe I'll just make this "JOL Week" so that September ends on a high note.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! The 1st day of October is now only ONE WEEK AWAY! That's scary!
I realized upon writing this morning, that we have now been through ALL of our Halloween milestones, and the only remaining special days we have left is Dark Arts Sunday on 9/28, and then the very final JOL Day of 2025.
Somewhere along the way, counts started MELTING off. I believe it happened between the arrival of Fall Preseason (August) and making it back to day 1 of The Bers. We need to hold on to every day now, we should be doing it anyway, but I feel like maybe it is extra important during The Bers?

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope your Wednesday is going well. A very busy morning here. We are into the afternoon already with a cloudy sky out there and temps into the low to mid 70s. It's also very humid out today. Some rain on the way tonight into Thursday. Happy Halloween!

Today is a rainy one. I opened the back door to let the dogs out and I caught an unmistakable "October smell". I think it is the damp ground and the rain and everything else. Big dose of the feels.
Well under a week to go now until the very FINAL JOL Day of 2025. October 1st is now under a week away!
Hold on to your pumpkins - the plan is for our "Halloween lights" to go up on the bushes this weekend!

I feel like the rest of the world is finally catching up to us in terms of when Spooky Season begins. I'm seeing Halloween decor go up earlier this year, and there are a lot of houses on our road that are now decorated that I wouldn't have expected to see until like two more weeks from now.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope your Friday is going well. We have another beautiful day here. I didn't say that yesterday so you can't accuse me of repeating that today. We have most sunny skies and a warm day with it being 77 out right now. Just gorgeous (and warm) for early autumn. Happy Halloween!
