Halloween 2025 Countdown!

Hectic Monday here too. While it was a little warmer today, it was not enough to melt the snow we got Saturday, even though it was not that much. I went to a neighborhood I don't usually go to and I saw one of those ginormous skeletons still out in the yard. Gave me a nice jolt of Halloween feels.

Happy Tuesday Folks! Things are always looking better when Monday is in the rear view mirror. You can see today we are just 3 days away from JOL Day #1, and FOUR Days from breaking into the 50's count on Spooky Spring! We will be ONE QUARTER of the way back to Halloween on Thursday! We say it all the time, but "time marches on"
We've made it through the 10 longest weeks of the winter. I noticed yesterday that it is staying light out until about 5:45. I know that's not much, but by the end of February the sun doesn't start setting until after 6PM!
I'll share a secret - I am starting to really get excited over Spooky Spring. I know it's 2+ full months away, so I'm trying to not to spend tons of time thinking about it, but I think something fun next month might be for me to go ahead and hammer out my movie schedule and everything that I want to do in April that is Halloween-related. That way all I have to do in March is just let the anticipation build up! It's looking right now like we might do "Spooky Spring Kick Off Weekend" beginning 3/29. That will still let me have a Dark Arts Sunday on 3/30, and close out the month with JOL Day #3 on 3/31. But i have some time to figure all that out still.

Happy Wednesday, Folks! This last week of January seems to really be taking its time and holding on with a death grip. Or it might just be because I am nervous about having my surgery later today and I have been dreading that all week.
We're going to close out this week with hitting the ONE QUARTER(!!!) mark to Halloween TOMORROW, and then on Friday we have JOL Day #1! The new month will be here on Sunday!
Today is our January recap, tomorrow we will have our February Preview, since Friday is going to be all about JOL Day#1.
We started off January by hitting the 300 day to Halloween milestone back on 1/4. Then we hit 250 Days to Halloween Season on 1/9. Then we hit our first 200 day milestone, 200 days to Fall Pre-Season on 1/13. We saw Halfoween hit 100 days to go back on 1/20. And on 1/24 we saw 250 Days to Halloween. It seems like January had more milestones that I could remember.
I think January was brutal and cold for a lot of people. And at times it went by slow. I've learned to appreciate different things about January, but I don't think it will ever be one of my favorite months. How was your January?

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Mini Friday to you all! I'm sure feeling better this morning than yesterday lol. And it's amazing. I have really no pain or swelling, I am just slightly tender on my right side when I move or stretch a certain way. I'll for sure be taking it easy today and tomorrow but my hope is that maybe my weekend looks "Normal".

We're going to break into the 50's count to Spooky Spring tomorrow! And I decided that when February got here, little by little I was going to put together my Spooky Spring plans so that all I have to do in March is sit and wait for "Kick Off Weekend", which I'll talk more about in the coming weeks.
