Halloween 2025 Countdown!

Hello and Happy Saturday!
We went to the movies last night and saw "The Monkey." It was decent, not great, but decent.
It is one that I will pick up on DVD and it will be a normal Halloween movie for us. It is worth checking out if you haven't.

Evening Halloween Fans! A sunny day here but still cold. But not "as cold." It's trying to warm up. It may not do too much today but it should accomplish more tomorrow. Pretty soon it'll be Halloween type of weather in late winter/early spring. Happy Halloween!

Happy Sunday Halloween Friends! Today we've reached the 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone! And it's the second edition of Dark Arts Sunday! We've also broken into the 150's on our "Days to Fall Pre-Season" count!
I'm hoping today feels more like an October day, as we reach a high of 54 and more vibrant sun! It was too windy yesterday for me to burn anything in the pit. Maybe this afternoon will be calmer. If the weather won't cooperate, I may have to load up the "new" limbs that came down and just take out to the landfill.
This coming week will see our "Holiday Trifecta" - Rudolph Day on Tuesday, Tom Turkey Day on Thursday, and JOL Day #2 on Friday! What a run of special days! Have a great Sunday!

We have someone with their giant skeleton still out. Though I'm guessing it might be a year round thing. I'm also seeing at least four sets of Xmas lights still up and illuminated.

Evening Halloween Fans! We are going to celebrate my brother's birthday with some pizza, cake and games. Funny when you get older how sometimes you go back to your childhood of how to spend your birthday. Just like with Halloween Season I'm more into it now than as a kid. Happy Halloween!

Buckle up, because we are about to embark on February's "Trifecta" of Special Days. Tomorrow, Rudolph Day, Thursday is Tom Turkey Day, and Friday we close out the month with JOL Day #2.
Our next milestone will be on March 4th when we hit 150 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON! That makes it sound close, doesn't it?

Happy Rudolph Day, Halloween Friends! 10 Months from today will be the Granddaddy of them all, Christmas Day! Where has time gone? I know it was "just" two months ago, but Christmas feels forever ago now.
Moving along now in our Fall/Halloween countdowns, we are one week now from the 150 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON milestone. We've also broken into single digits now on our way down to the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone.
I personally am closing in on 90 days to Baby #2. WOW.
Easter Candy is out full force in the stores now. As far as the candy cycle goes, HALLOWEEN CANDY will be the true next seasonal candy that hits the stores. I'm figuring on that being around 5 months from now. I remember seeing Halloween candy hit Target and CVS first, it was late August, then the rest followed. We will re-visit this topic once Easter candy is off the shelves.

It's kind of like the calm before the storm. And this week especially, as we prepare to exit February and enter the Month of Hope. But we don't do that before we celebrate Tom Turkey day tomorrow, and JOL Day on Friday!
No significant movements on the counts this morning, but TOMORROW we will be one week out from the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone!
Today I want to do our February recap, and tomorrow we can look at the March preview. February here felt long and cold. We are in decent weather now, but most of the month has been frigid. We had two snow storms, and my work was closed for a few days from them. February was also the month that I think most people felt like Christmas and the holidays were far behind them, and we might have felt some winter doldrums or even some PCB's / PFHB's.

With the weather bring what it is right now, I’m wondering if April really will feel like the mirror image of October whenever it finally gets here. So far, it’s feeling pretty close to October-ish outside, and I’m worried that Spooky Spring in Texas will feel more like Spooky Summer this year. I’m praying that the cool temperatures will last.
My February was fine, at least up until Super Bowl Weekend, but honestly it has been a snooze fest since then. I’m ready for some movement, some activity, some action, some milestones, some Christmas news, some Halloween news, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade…you get the idea.
