Good Morning Halloween Friends! Finally Monday is over and we move on to Tuesday. We are going to have lots of rain the next few days so the cooler temperatures will really make it feel like your classic autumn rainy day. I know there won't be many times like this before we get back to "true" Autumn so I am going to try and enjoy every minute! We haven't had a drought declared yet but it's been a pretty dry Spring. We are supposed to get anywhere from 2 to 3 inches of rain over the next few days so we should get caught right back up to where we are "normally".
Folks - Time seems like it's "Frozen" right now in the counts. No real changes one way or the other. We are still crawling towards the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone, which will be here now in less than 2 weeks. It's been a beacon of hope for me for quite some time, especially last year when we received the news that we were expecting again.
So in a way, this is sort of like the last little bit of "quiet time" in the counts here before everything changes on Memorial Day weekend. So let's enjoy the time and try to think some Halloween thoughts! Have a great day!

We have an exciting update to share:
There is a good possibility that they are going to do Holly's C-section before May 29th, we just left the doctor's office and they are going to do one more growth scan on Tuesday, and it was strongly suggested that they are going to move her up by one week.
I don't know the new date yet, but it would be sometime next week after the Tuesday scan. We could possibly go later that Tuesday potentially. I will let everyone know! Please keep us in your prayers this is starting to get pretty scary for me!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Wednesday, wild and wonderful. Our torrential rains are "over". Our weather station from down the road says that it rained almost 4 inches in the last 24 hours. Amazingly, nothing is flooded here or around the house, that's how dry we are. And now we are only down about an inch for the year, where we are at "normally".
I saw the Fall Preseason count dipped into the 70's this morning. Little signs that time is indeed moving again. And we're just 10 days away now from the big 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone.
The rainy, gloomy evening last night reminded me of those classic autumn days we talk about all the time. The only thing missing was the Jack O Lantern!

Gotta confess, it is really hard to get into the Halloween spirit when it's 91 degrees outside. The SweatFest made its debut early here. I'm hoping that by the time Halloween gets here for real that we're seeing much cooler weather.
It usually takes until the end of October to see consistent cooler weather. Sigh!!!
UPDATE: Our new due date is NEXT THURSDAY, May 22nd! I will update the count accordingly in the morning!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! More rain and showers today. We were fortunate nothing serious came down last night. It rained nearly 5 inches in 24 hours here. They did some water rescues a few towns over. Lots of houses around here had flooded basements. We were very fortunate, none of my family experienced any flooding. I think it was because our immediate area was so dry. We don't even have any standing water anywhere, just thick green grass that is going to be a jungle in a few more days!
Moving right along to the counts, you can see the big update this morning is that I am just ONE WEEK away from going to the hospital to have our baby. This is the major change and obviously the big date other than Memorial Day weekend / The Bers that i've been waiting for for so long.
**Folks - I'm asking for a countdown volunteer possibly beginning on 5/22, depending on the time of surgery. If it is a later appointment then I can post the morning of 5/22 but would then need a volunteer from that point for the duration of our stay. I have tried posting these counts before from a phone and it is brutal. Nobody has to decide today, I figured maybe @Edge612 could take over the thread for that time or maybe you guys do countdown by committee. I've said a million times this is everyone's thread, I just post the updates. We can revisit in another few days. TIA ****

Congratulations! I know you've been anxious about Baby #2, so I'm glad that everything is moving along smoothly and that the doctors were able to move that delivery date up!
