Halloween 2026 Countdown!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well on this Monday. We have a dark, cloudy day here. We got a good amount of rain last night. And now it's getting chillier outside. Feeling like late winter still today. Happy Halloween!

Checking our counts this morning, we're in SINGLE DIGITS now on both our JOL Day Count, and Days to Spooky Spring. Folks, we had our first 90 DEGREE DAY yesterday. I have a terrible feeling we are going to jump straight to summer. I hope not, for the sake of having a "normal" Spooky Spring that feels like October weather, but also because mentally I don't think I (or anyone) is ready to imagine fighting The Sweat Fest for 5/6 months. Hopefully we won't need to.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is in the rear view mirror and we're moving on through this week now! I did a good job yesterday not daydreaming too much about my long weekend coming up starting on Good Friday. I'm saving thoughts like that for at least until Wednesday of this week. But folks, it's hard. Especially since this weekend is Spooky Spring kickoff weekend. It's hard to not start thinking about THIS weekend, like right now!

Looking at our counts above, we are now just one week out from JOL Day #3, better known in March as "Spooky Spring Eve". And the count that maybe surprises me the most here in late March, is looking at "Fall Preseason" and realizing that before next month is over, we will hit the 100 day milestone for that.

"Winter" weather has returned, it's 29 degrees outside and only making it to 50 degrees today. The rest of the week looks warm, but a chilly weekend is in store, we don't get out of the 50's either day. But the chilly days help it feel more like October, especially as we move into the final days here before Spooky Spring officially arrives! Have a great day!
