I am hoping to have Dawn of Sorrow completed by JOL Day #6 so I can start on my next Castlevania game. I haven’t even decided which one to play yet. I guess I could always play the prequel, Aria of Sorrow.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is down and all of a sudden the week got better. I'm looking forward to another July weekend. I really feel this, but it it's obvious that every step we take forward at this point is a step towards Fall Preseason. We are now UNDER a week to go until 50 DAYS TO THE BERS, and of course the beginning of the 50 DAY PREVIEW TO THE BERS.
And I've mentioned this before, but please consider that we are in the final month in this thread where we have a count that is north of 100 days. July 23rd will be the last time in this thread that we have a count in triple digits. When we launched this thread on Halloween Night 2025, we had 7 main full counts at that time, with three of those counts all being well north of 300 days. Now there are only 5 main counts and only ONE count left that is north of 100 days. We are going to lose another main count before this month is over!
That's why I mention that we can all still enjoy summer, but still be mindful of what all has changed and what will continue to change as we continue our trek through July.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Finally it's Wednesday, the early-week feelings are starting to change and later today we can literally feel the weekend energy start moving in. Doesn't Wednesday - on feel so different than Monday and Tuesday?

I’ve been going back to Michael’s every week since they started putting their Halloween merch on display. We went back yesterday evening, and even though they have a lot of stuff out right now, it looks like they are preparing to stock even more. Additionally, they have a whole “Summerween” aisle where they have traditional Halloween decor like skulls, pumpkins, and bats, but they’re all shiny and colorful and made to look like summer decor. It’s quite a jarring contrast!

Happy Thursday, pumpkin people! Mini Friday has finally arrived in these parts, and hearing the reports of places like Lowes starting to put out Fall / Halloween decorations has me pretty excited and I want to go on a scavenger hunt!
We are 4 days from a major milestone in this thread - that obviously being 50 DAYS TO THE BERS, and the start of the 50 day Preview. Do not miss when this starts. I think it's the biggest event on this site outside of the Special Post Series to ring in Christmas Season.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! At long last, HAPPY FRIDAY to all of you! This week felt like it was dragging a little bit, and finally there's nothing that feels better than knowing it is Friday. We started this week here with everything pretty brown from the drought, and now we have beautiful greening grass and it almost looks like my front yard could stand to be mowed again. I hadn't mowed for two weeks because it was so dry!
Folks you can see on our countdowns now we are just 3 weeks away from JOL Day #6, the JOL Day that leads us straight into Fall Preseason. And that Bers count inches closer and closer to 50 DAYS, at which point we will begin the 50 DAY PREVIEW OF THE BERS, which will take us straight to September 1st. I'm loving this milder cool weather, it only gets to 84 today, and as our peak hottest days of the summer lie just a week ahead, I'm looking forward to seeing the slow cool down that always imperceptibly happens as we enter August and head towards The Bers. We also lose 40 minutes of daytime this month!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's the weekend. And it's my mom's birthday so we're celebrating with some hot food trays we ordered for dinner. And we'll have ice cream, play games, relax after the normal Saturday errands are done. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's a big day here. Everyone knows the doorstep we are standing on. Major Milestone Eve today
Tomorrow we FINALLY reach 50 DAYS TO THE BERS, and the 50 DAY PREVIEW OF THE BERS begins. It's in all honesty an event that I have anticipated since Spooky Spring ended.
I made it into town yesterday and the 1st place I visited was Michaels. There were Halloween decorations EVERYWHERE. I took a good 5 minutes just looking at and smelling candles. It was a huge dose of Feels. I'm really not sure what smell I'm actually smelling that triggers my "autumn feels", but I'd love to know, to maybe have as wax warmers or candles when AUGTOBER arrives next month. I think it obviously starts as Pumpkin Spice, with some variants here and there, but Pumpkin Spice is the main one and I think I'm going to go in search of wax cubes this coming week. Hobby Lobby was up next, and it was more of the same.
I'm also getting some feels looking at the calendar and seeing that big July 31st standing out. Is it just me?

Hello Halloween Fans! I have to say this time of year is our turning point. I am seeing people post about Fall/Halloween Season and even a few signs in stores.
