Good Morning Halloween Friends! This is the week most of us have been waiting for. The week that Fall Pre-Season arrives. We are also going to lose a main count when it does. I think back sometimes to how far we have came, and back when we started this thread we had 7 main counts, and beginning in January, an eighth joined us (Bers count). Three of those counts were north of 300 days.

Now, in the final week of July, we have six main counts, and getting ready to drop another count in less than a week. No count remains that is higher than 100 days!

Costco has Halloween AND Christmas stuff, Hobby Lobby is packed with both Fall and Christmas, and Lowes joined the party a few weeks back with Halloween rolling into the store. It is just about time that we can go just about anywhere and see reminders of "The Big 3". The only thing missing from my part of the world here is seeing Halloween candy in the store. Last year I noticed it during the 3rd week of July. I'm hoping that I will find it in the store this weekend when we do our grocery run.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Monday is over and just like that, this final week of July just started moving a little easier.

We have some skinny counts at the top of our list this morning. Just 3 days to go until JOL Day #6, and of course Fall Pre-Season arrives here on Saturday. Maybe @Escalation shows up with his famous 72 hour countdown memes from Majora's Mask. I've grown use to seeing them when we are on the verge of something MAJOR.

Speaking of Major, Sunday will show that we enter the FINAL THIRTY on the way back to The Bers, back to HOME.

Got home today from our mini-vacation and celebrating our anniversary (which was really in June).

Now that Christmas in July is truly past, all I can think about is Halloween! I am so ready to decorate, watch Scary movies, listen to Halloween music, everything!

I am going to try to hold off until we are really in August before I start to dive in, but it is tough!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! I woke up this morning and really thought it was Tuesday. We're at the midpoint now to the FINAL week of July. Less than 72 hours away from Fall Pre-Season. It's a good place to be. Wednesday is low key my second favorite day of the week.

I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for Halloween Candy. Since we've already got Halloween Costumes and decorations in the stores, seeing Halloween Candy show up would be the ultimate mental boost that says we are ALMOST home. I told someone just yesterday, that Fall for me starts on Saturday lol.

Good morning Halloween Fans!

It is bright and sunny today. About 70 degrees right now and will be about 80 or so later today. Really not too bad for late July. Feels more like early September, and that is not a bad thing at all.

Saturday, August 1st, we are headed to the Cleveland Browns Training Camp. That will be a nice thing to do for the first day of the Fall Preseason.

Good evening Halloween Fans!

My wife and I went out today to some stores to look for Halloween stuff. We were not disappointed. We first stopped at Marshalls. They had a few decor items, but they had several Fall coffees. So, of course we picked up 3 bags of various Fall flavors. We then went to Bath and Body Works to check out their Fall candle selection. It was decent but several of the candles were not really that great, but we found a couple we liked.

Then we went to At Home. They had a large selection of Halloween decor. We ended up picking a few things there. The main one was a small Butler holding a candle that says several short phrases.

Then we went to Hobby Lobby. We didn't get anything, but they had their normal selection of Fall stuff out.

We also spotted a Spirit Halloween store sign! Not open yet, but I know we are getting close. Seeing that one means that we should have 2 Spirit stores nearby!

Happy Thursday Pumpkin Folks! Standing on the doorstep now to JOL Day #6, the final JOL Day before Fall Preseason arrives on Saturday. When the electric pumpkin turns off on Friday night, Fall Preseason is HERE!

That also means we're going to lose a main count. The Fall Preseason count has been with us since the first day of the "new" thread back on November 1st, 2025.

I still plan on popping over in the "Offseason Thread" tomorrow night when JOL Day is winding down, to give my final thoughts on my 2026 "Offseason". Once again I had a whirlwind of a year, and I'm looking forward to Fall Preseason and The Bers to be my reward once again.

One thing I realized about these Castlevania games once I finished Dawn of Sorrow last month is just how much they lean into horror. They’re definitely no Silent Hill, but man, there’s some pretty gruesome stuff in ol’ Drac’s castle.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy JOL Day #6! I know I say this several different times throughout the year, but tomorrow really everything changes. THE BERS are just a month away. Summer, while still here, is retreating. You can feel it in the temperatures in the evenings and early mornings. Mentally I can feel the magic starting to build up in the air. It's a mighty fine place to be.

Tonight's movie is a perfect spin on the classic Ghost Story - "What Lies Beneath". And starting tomorrow, I'm going to attempt to do the movie playlist that Gemini made for me about 6 weeks ago where we jokingly called August "Augtober", which honestly sounds better every time I say it.

I noticed with this post, I totally missed doing the July review and the August preview. So I think we can condense it a little right now. I don't think there's much to say about what comes tomorrow.
