I am making pumpkin for my dh and pecan for myself. With lots of redi-whip. ( I would make homemade whip cream except unless you are going to eat it all at once for get about it, redi-whip will last as long as the pie).

Tomorrow is desert making day! Sweet potato, pecan and apple pie, brownies with marshmallow frosting and pumpkin bread. That was on Thursday, I can focus on making an awesome Thanksgiving dinner!!

Two loaves of pumpkin bread is made (would have been more but BF killed a deer and I had to help with that instead)!!! I brought them to work today to share with my co-workers. I have one girl that starts reminding me at Halloween each year that I have to make a loaf for her so she will be in here soon with her gallon of milk, ready to eat. I bought some cream cheese icing to put on it if they want, I have never tried that before but someone recommended it to me.

Tonite I have to make atleast 4 more loaves. Not complaining though, it makes my house smell wonderful. Even BF thought it smelled heavenly.

Nah, I can make 2 at a time so its not too bad. The two I brought up here today are just about gone...

pie

well its normal but pumpkin pie all the way....its one of the best pies out there....really good too

I got to try pumpkin pie with a chocolate chocolate graham cracker, it was good

I always make Oreo pie for Thanksgiving and Christmas (and any other time we get together). My nephew and nieces would be very mad at me if I didn't!

Pumpkin for Thanksgiving for sure. My mum used to use butternut squash rather than pumpkin for her pies and you couldn't tell the difference in taste at all. Had a creamier consistency, but that was the only give-away.

For DVD Guy - Oreo Pie!

Yumm!
